A lot of times, when I answer a question, I will get emails or comments and a lot of them come from kids whos ages range from 10-15 years old.
Is that that is all that is on here? Kids?
Im 36 and I dont understand how someone, who hasent even lived half as long as I have, can sit there and tell me I am wrong about something like this. These kids havent experienced the trials and tribulations of adulthood, yet they know everything?
What are the ages of the people on this board?

OK, OK. I remember being a teenager. And I know they can be a little rough, at times. But I am talking about the ones that completely berate you and talk to you like you were beneath them.
I f I ever talked to a stranger like these kids have done to me, my father would have royally kiked my a**. I understand ataing you opinion, but when its done disrespectfully, thats what bothers me.

btw: this is not my normal ID. I didnt want to waste the points on my main.

There are a number of seniors who participate on this board. People of all ages, really. You might be getting contacted by the younger ones just because older people are (usually) mature enough to handle dissenting opinions without resorting to making personal contact. As for me, I'm a college student in my early 20s.

I'm 48.

You can tell by some of the exchanges on this board that people are very young. Part of their immaturity is not realizing how immature they really are. In the next few years, they'll probably start to realize they have a right to their own opinion, but then so does everybody else. But then there will be a new crop of 10-15 year olds sending rude emails.

I'm 28 and I do get a little worried when those that are around half my age tell me I'm wrong or whatever, but the truth is that everyone's opinion is valid and important, whether we personally agree with it or not.
Also, remember the old saying "Out of the mouths of babes..."
I have occasionally come across real gems of wisdom from the younger participants here.

I wont tell my age, but I am a lot older than that. I can tell from some of the questions that there are kids here. I have to say I am not sure its the best place online for kids to hang out, especially if they are emailing people.

I'm not 20. Plus, I browse Wikipedia for random stuff, because I'm bored. I may not have lived as long as you, but wisdom does come with age. But not all the wisdoms of the world come with age. They come with the trials and tribulations of adulthood, as you state. But I think I could at least give my two cents about my opinion. And provide at least a decent argument with that.

i am 15 but i am abnormally intelligent for my age.

i do not tell anyone that they are wrong when it comes to there spiritual beliefs.

also i have experienced many things that a 36 year old would not have.

i was legally dead for a few minutes when i was an infant because i drowned in a bathtub.

also i was in a motorcycle accident that resulted in the death of my grandfather.

these are only a few there are many more.

I'm 25, have lived abroad for a year-long period of time, and have a postgraduate education (master's in English, currently pursuing my JD - 2/3rds done.)

I will be 26 May 7. (I share my birthday with Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Eva Peron, Gary Cooper, and Johnny Unitas, for the sake of interest.)

I'd say the R&S section skews a little older and more educated than, say, the movies or music sections, but it's just a guess.
