Yes. The miracles were life and Life. The first life was given to me when I was born and I lived, though I should have died. The second Life was given to me when I became a Christian, a child of God. It was given to me by God with the Holy Ghost through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour. There are other miracles too, but what are they without these two?

We all define miracles differently, a child born, surviving a horrid accident, or watching a loved one slip off peacefully to sleep to never wake again. I feel that every day that I wake up on this side of the sod is a miracle. Being a former Vol. Firefighter I have seen most if not all the miracles that one person should.

The most significant miracle in my life was Jesus changing my heart from cold stone to warm flesh. There were more though:
I was three years old. Ran into the path of a car traveling about 35 mph. No broken bones, no scars from the scraping I took sliding on my back for @ 80 ft.
I was 19 yrs old and in Viet Nam. A 122mm rocket exploded 27 ft from where I was standing. My back/left side was to the explosion but I saw the flash out of the corner of my eye. When the sound reached me, I was flat on my face. The tent beside where I'd been standing was shredded. Do the math - can human flesh travel that fast, naturally?
I was 31 yrs old. I ran a stop sign and the rear of my car was clipped by another car. My car rolled onto its side but I was uninjured. I tried getting out of the car to no avail, the door was damaged and would not open for me. When I looked down I saw and smelled gasoline that was coming out of the tank. I thought, "I guess I'll be a crispy critter when we meet, Lord." The next moment, the door above me flew open and a young man reached inside and pulled me out one-handed and set me onto the ground. As we stood by, I thanked him for his help. I turned around to look at my formerly beautiful '68 Ford Falcon and when I turned back, he was gone.

Lots of times. The ones I remember most are answers to prayer that came when I was a child, even though the request was not one that more mature people would make. Once there were four of us - my brother and I, and two friends - who wanted to either buy a jackknife or see Mary Poppins at the Theater. Each cost 50 cents, but we had no money. We were visiting my (and my brother's) grandmother at the time. We asked God to give us the 50 cents. One of our older brothers came home and gave us each a dime. Then another older brother came and gave us each a quarter. Then the first one didn't want to be outdone, so he gave us each another 15 cents. We decided on Mary Poppins.

Christians see miracles everywhere.
Atheists see them nowhere.

Every week I see that I have received them. I have come to expect them, and that's why I pray. The notebook I started keeping in December 2005 to record miraculous answers to prayer has about 20 pages in it so far. I have answered your first question decisively, and your second question, not precisely, but at least quantitatively.

If I were to actually believe in miracles, then I have recieved 2 in my lifetime. My two beautiful children. After the child is born that I'm carrying now, then I will say 3 miracles.

I will give you a list:

1. I was born physically in 1942.

2. I was born again spiritually in 1974. Before that I was a drug dealing and using hippie who was suicidal and filled with hate for my father who abandoned me when I was 8.
The only time I spoke the words God or Christ was as a curse
and I often told people to go to Hell - which if I had known what
I was wishing on them never would have.

3. God used me to bring people into his kingdom through street evangelism and strengthen others through on site live in ministries where they could come and find peace with God.

4. God caused a man who was about to hit me while I was street witnessing to see something that so shocked him that he ran terrified and screaming down the street. I was a very young Christian then. During this same time period I saw 250 people fed when only a half a chip can of fish was there and they ate all they wanted and we took up two full cans of fish afterward. A girl prayed a simple prayer, "Jesus, you multiplied food enough to feed 5000 men plus women and children while you walked the earth so we believe you can multiply this fish to feed a mere 250 people." He did.

5. God allowed me to pray with others who had strong faith and we cast demons out of different people who were possessed. Further on in my life because of that experience I saw my four year old cast demons out of our house that had him terrified earlier in the same evening.

6. I have received healing in my body, have seen my children
healed, and have prayed for and seen other people healed during my life and ministry.

7. I have had people from all over the country at different times and in different places pray and prophecy over me in homes and churches and in Bible colleges and even though none of them ever met and may never meet in this life their prophecies were all the same almost verbatim.

8. God has given me 7 children, and every one of them when
they were ready and mostly without me being present with them at the time have surrendered their lives to Christ and are not afraid to witness to His saving power.

9. I have a supernatural peace that no matter what happens in my life it doesn't disturb me to the point of fear or anger or depression or any other negative thing but I know fully and completely that God has everything under control, and my days are filled with this peace and confidence in Him.

10. I have had incredible anointings on my life in preaching, praying and witnessing to others that could never have come from any other source but God.

I could say more, but that should be sufficient. One very special thing I missed is that God has at different times moved me to such depth of sorrow over those who were lost and without hope in Christ that I could not control my weeping nor understand the depth of it. While it was deep and past my comprehension, it was also so sweet that I cannot use human words to describe it.

THERE ARE SOME CHRISTIANS IN THIS GENERATION WHO DON'T BELIEVE GOD DOES THINGS LIKE THIS ANYMORE. I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU. GOD IS ALL POWERFUL, AND THERE IS NOTHING HE CANNOT DO IF WE WILL JUST TRUST HIM AND BELIEVE HIS WORD.
IT IS NO SMALL WONDER THAT THE WORLD SCOFFS AND MOCKS US WHEN WE ARE SO WEAK IN FAITH AND SO FULL OF DOUBT.

THERE ARE ALSO PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW CHRIST WHO WILL READ THIS AND WILL FIND WAYS TO DISMISS WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN AS IMPOSSIBLE OR THEY MAY MOCK IT BECAUSE THEY DON'T THINK GOD DOES THESE THINGS FOR MEN ANYMORE IF HE EVER DID THEM AT ALL.

I AM SO SORRY FOR ALL WHO DOUBT BECAUSE GOD IS SO MUCH GREATER THAN OUR FINITE MINDS CAN GRASP, AND HE WOULD DO SO MUCH MORE FOR US IF WE WOULD JUST BELIEVE.
