I watched indiana jones in religion, and i am having hard time finding answer for these ones, and i have even tried.

1. What is the difference between Archaelogy and Philosophy?
2.Outline the mission/purpose of Indiana in the film. What is he looking for?
3.What is the Holy Grail and what does it promise to bring to those who possess it?
4."The Holy Grail connects all of us with the divine", a quote by the professor - what does this statement mean?
5.Indiana is tricked/fooled by the female Nazi agent, how was he fooled? How have you been deceived by someone?
6.Indiana follows a trail of puzzle pieces, each linking to another. Describe three or four symbols (puzzle pieces) and explain their significance.
7.Throughout the film Indiana resorts to his father's book to guide his search. Many religious people use a sacred book as well, what are those books and how are they used?

it would sure seem that way. read them in detail, they all speak of violence, mass death along the lines of the religion (with athiests burning, no doubt). could it be that the book of revelations was really giving the saints the right to commit murder? genocide has been condoned, and even endorsed several times in the bible, look what they did to the poor canaanites.

i think we need to watch these christian wackos carefully, because it could be us or our children on their stakes.

even if you are a christian that doesnt believe in it (we call you "pick and choose christians" ya'll pick and choose what ur gonna believe) its still part of the very foundation of the religion...christ comes evil dies............its so diabolical thats all. thoughts?

I've read at least 3 questions(really just comments posted as questions) where witnesses are bragging over their growth and how many members have been baptized into their religion. According to scripture, that's not really a good sign. Broad and wide is the way to destruction. Narrow and few the path to life.

God will not choose who has eternal life by the number of members in your religion here on earth. You do not have to belong to a kingdom hall or church to preach. In fact, I think preaching from door to door makes it less likely that you will reach people, because many people will be less receptive to opening their doors to strangers with todays crime.

If you have to clock your time for humans, you are trying to impress people, not preaching for God? You can preach the gospel on the bus, at the store, at school, everywhere. It is sad that JWs do a lot of visual practices to be judged holy by men, rather than God.

My English teacher told my class about it, but wasn't specific.
Has anyone heard about this? Do you know what it was?

It is easier to be a baby christian when everyone is fussing over you and when one does not have a lot of resposibility and life is care free and every day is awesome that is what I was like as a Christian being I acceted the Lord as a teenager.

However over the years when I grew in Christ ministry became very demanding and there were times I felt "squeezed too tight" like I said before it is easier to be milk of the word than meat of the word. It is funny when you are willing to step up to the plate and serve God how many out there are the first to take advantage in a bad way and this is not just church, but work and relatonships too. There are people who take and take but never give.

My question is How does one remaing joyful and filled with the Holy Spirit when much is requried or demanded of you? Why does ministering take so much out of you? And what are ways to revive and replenish yourself so I dont become resentful or lose my passion for God?

How about 19 agnostics? 19 Buddhists? 19 Unitarians?

Turn your imagination loose on the questions of their possible choice of weapons and especially their possible motivations.

I'm looking for wild-and-crazy here ("no kidding, weemaryanne? we thought you wanted a reasoned philosophical discourse, duh"). Go Yamsters!

I heard some muslims in the world salat using their own language, not in arabic. They explain they doing so because they said not all prophet before muhammad is arabian, for example they isa's language is aramaic/hebrew.So,they think it's okay to salat using qur'an words in their own language.I never do such thing before because i doubt about it.So muslims, what do you think about it?

Why do Christians attend worldly colleges when the Bible speaks against it? Did you know that Christian colleges actually cost less than state ran colleges? Some feed back pleases.

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8

"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them." Ephesians 5:6-7

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." James 3:17

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 1:22

I have honestly never met an ill-behaved Mormon. Of course, their religion is a joke, but that said, every mormon I have ever met treated me very kindly.

Now older and wiser, I understand why Mormons have always been friendly...because this is part of their religious programming. For most people "what" you say isnt what persuades, it how you behave toward them.

Mormons are specifically instructed to act with extreme kindness as a means to show the virtue of their religion, and because Mormon brainwashing systems are so successful, they are able to achieve a consistent result accross the board.

"So what" you say. I guess I dont care.only that Stepford-like communes do scare me, because, as with Islam, the programming can go another direction (Jihad).

Muslims are similar to Mormons in behavior, are they not? Islam, like Mormonism is able to program uniform behavior, that has a plesant-side (Dr. Jekyl), however as we all know, this brainwashing also serves Jihad...

I'm in no way trying to disrespect your Belief, but could someone tell me why ya'll pray to the saints and mary? That's why Jesus came and died for us he is the bridge between us and God, Praying to the saints and mary is a form of false idol worship, because they have taken the place of Jesus in your belief. so I guess my question is why do you have to pray to all the saints and say three hail mary's, when really all it takes is praying to mary's son, Jesus, the one who died for us, to get your answer? Mary and the saints can't save anyone only Jesus can do that, I'm just wondering.

Nine Inch Nails - Right Where it Belongs

Lyrics::

See the animal in his cage that you built,
Are you sure what side you're on?
Better not look him too closely in the eye,
Are you sure what side of the glass you are on?
See the safety of the life you have built
Everything where it belongs
Feel the hollowness inside of your heart
And it's all, right where it belongs

What if everything around you,
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if all the world you think you know,
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is that all you want to be?
What if you could look right through the cracks,
Would you find yourself, find yourself afraid to see?
