Why do Christians attend worldly colleges when the Bible speaks against it? Did you know that Christian colleges actually cost less than state ran colleges? Some feed back pleases.
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8
"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them." Ephesians 5:6-7
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." James 3:17
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 1:22

I see your point. I have been at both ends of the spectrum. Now I am about to graduate from a Christian college, and it has made all the difference. Most secular universities are hostile towards the Christian world view, and make it a point to push their beliefs on impressionable young people. I know many will disagree with me but I will not even send my children to public school because of the issue of world view.

Hello. I am a student of the Original texts,
for about 35 years now; first of all, you are taking verses somewhat out of context.
Secondly, None of these or is there any other verse in scripture that speaks against the knowledge of man in that you should not be learned while in the flesh. That is nonsense. If you are seeking wisdom, all wisdom comes from God, and that is where you will find it; however, this is not to say you should not learn. Daniel was an extremely book-learned individual; he was also a tax collector; The Apostle Luke was a Medical Physician, and Paul, well geez he studied under one of the greatest scholars ever known to mankind, Gameul. Paul attended a Roman University. Paul also was learned in several languages. Do you know how many questions I've read just today alone, that asked why Christians need diets if they were Christian they wouldn't eat too much; Why do Christians
not act like Christ? Why do Christians have accountants to help them save money on taxes? And one of my personal favorites:
Do you know that there are Christians in jail for smoking pot?
Look, if you want to to to college, and it is for a subject other than The Bible, then wouldn't you want to go to the one that has the classes you need, the cirriculum you want, whether it is in an area where you might want to live in the dorm; Your question is nothing more than a ridiculous
attack on Christians. If you are looking for someone who is perfect, you are gonna be looking for a good long time, my friend, because there aren't any perfect people.
Not any Christians, athiests, Catholics for sure, Buddhists, nobody is perfect, everyone is gonna screw up. period.
But what you are doing is just nit-picking.
Damn, you are ready to judge people because of the college they chose. Or is it more the fact that they chose to be educated? This whole question is goofy.

We have to live in the world, but we should not be entangled with it.
Many people fulfill their God given destiny through collages which are secular as well as Christian.
Christian students are put there too, to spread the Gospel to others. I know many students who have been saved as a result of meeting Christians in secular collages.
We are to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.

What can we do? Christians set up most if not all of the 'Ivy League' colleges, and they were just taken over by the godless parasites who followed. Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Pepperdine... the list goes on and on.

I don't agree with your interpretation of those verses. It simply means not to allow the vain (foolishness) of man to affect your belief in God etc. Christians are human beings who are interested in and want to participate in the world. We do not need to be closeted away to prevent us from knowing what is outside the walls. We need to be aware. The Bible also says that we are to know and be watchful of the world.

We can be 'in the world' without 'conforming to' the world.
We are also warned to not misquote, misuse, or misinterprete the Holy Word of Yahweh.
"Do not conform to the world, be transformed by the Word."
