Hindus aren't monotheistic. They worship or acknowledge many gods: Brahma, Shiva, Kali and Vishnu, just to name a few.

God is a title, and yes, they all seem to worship the same God. Hindus worship one God but Christians worship three entities, so they are really more Pantheistic than monotheistic, but the theory is the same.

same God...different interpretations/understandings.
The buddhist concept of Nirvana is essentially a state of oneness with God too...though they don't use any terminology which might indicate it...subjectively there's no difference.
Even the Native Americans have the 'Great Spirit'...who is expressed in all the various animal spirits.
It really doesn't matter what the expression is, Divinity is Divinity...
If I worship the God of Christ, no matter whether I mention Christ at all...if they're the same, then by acknowledging one, the other is acknowledged....so it is with any reference to Divinity....mono or poly or whatever prefix we use is beside the point...God transcends description.
Do fundamentalist Christians really prefer to believe that God is something totally definable? I mean, if that were the case, we could just understand God intellectually....but God is soooooo beyond the intellect...(the wisdom of man is foolishness to God?)
either way....my vote goes for the idea that they're all the same God.

I have to disagree with those on here saying that Christians worship three gods. We don't worship three seperate gods because to us God has three parts to him, but each part makes up one God as a whole. It is confusing, but thats because our human minds are limited in what we can understand.

I believe there is only one God to be worshiped. So in whatever form you worship, it is the one God who receives it. So yes, we necessarily worship the same God.

Thats debateable. While they do believe in a singular life force (Brahman) that is the ultimate reality of all thngs, I would have to say that they don't believe in the Jewish/Christian/Muslim God because of thier belief in Brahman's various manifestations in the forms of minor dieties.
