it is written in Rev 3:21, 21:7, that God will offer a throne to those that overcome ALL things.
it is an invitation to become a God!
but is this translation true!
can men become like the angels, and are the angels called the sons of God? and what do the sons of God become!

while it is written that Isaiah says there is NO saviours but one, in the book of obadiah, it says there are many Saviours on Mt Sion. And while Jesus prayed to His God and His Father, He also prayed for those that would believe that all people would become ONE as they are one, and then Jesus taught that He gave men the power to become the sons of God. In the KJv of revelation, it clearly says that such men and sons of God can sit in a throne but even though I read these verses, I still cannot understand ( or maybe i do) that christians deny Sound doctrine that is so plain to understand....

It is a sin to believe in God, just to guarantee a reward at the end of it all. It is not about mansions, or golden streets, or even virgins as the Muslims believe....

Rev. 14:1 speaks of 144K bought from the earth, "who sing a new song ... that no one was able to master."
Their calling is from God's spirit: "sealed in their foreheads", so it is known only to them as genuine. (Rev. 7:3)
This is the "little flock" of Luke 12:32 & of John 10:16, meant to become "a kingdom of priests". (Rev.1:6)
A priest is a mediator between God & Man, when you think about it. These become elevated above the angels, as king-priests at the side of Jesus, the High Priest and now-ruling king of God's kingdom.
Kings and priests over whom? The subjects of the Kingdom, here on earth.
While these aren't gods, they are divine, that is, having god like qualities of authority and power. They are no longer subject to death - ever, unlike angels or humans.
This is NOT doled out to just any of the faithful. These must prove faithful until death or the end of this wicked system.
These are also reffered to as the (spiritual) "Israel of God".

Bible Chick: Right scritpures, wrong conclusion. What you have read SHOWS there is ONLY the ONE true God. What's wrong with what Jesus said?: "I have not yet ascended to MY GOD" (John 20:17); and, Rev. 3:12 "I will write upon him the name of MY God and the name of the city of MY God."

Jesus, in Hebrew, means: "Jehovah means salvation"

"None come to my Father except THROUGH me."

"I am the WAY, the truth, and the light (illuminater)."

It is a misunderstanding of the passage to think that Jesus' offer for us to sit on throne with Him is a promise of Godhood.
Consider Isaiah 40:25 "God, the Holy One, says, “Can you compare me to anyone? Is anyone equal to me?”
or Isaiah 43:10-11"The Lord says, “You are my witnesses
and the servant I chose. I chose you so you would know and believe me,so you would understand that I am the true God.
There was no God before me,and there will be no God after me. I myself am the Lord; I am the only Savior." or vs 13 “I have always been God.No one can save people from my power;when I do something, no one can change it.” (NCV)
Continually in chapters 40 -49 of Isaiah, God states He is the only one God.
Sorry LDS friends, the Bible doesn't endorse eternal progression. God has always been one God in three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He alone created the universe out of nothing. We will experience a glorified existence in heaven, but we will not be made into a God. We will reign with Him, but He alone will be worthy of worship.

One more thought, if our God was once a man like us and followed the ways of his god wouldn't that god be greater than he. The god before him would be superior and so on. The ultimate God would be the One that brought the universe into existence. Elohim would be a liar for saying in Isaiah 44:8 "There is no other God but me.I know of no other Rock; I am the only One"

It isn't a throne of Godhood. There is only one God in three persons and He will never share His glory with anyone. The thrones are for overcomers, and those who love God aren't too deeply concerned whether they get a throne or not. The strongest desire of a Christian is that they may look upon the face of Christ who died for them. Everything else is downhill from there!

The gifts God offers those who love Him don't even rate a close second to spending eternity in His presence.
