A billion Hindus. A billion Muslims. A billion non-religious. Hundreds of millions of Buddhists and native religions. Jews, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, Rastafarians, Jains, Taoists. Hmmm, and if you think that those things are all made up, then you've just admitted that humans have a penchant for making up gods and religious systems. Now isn't that interesting.

God created the Earth in a week according to the Bible. How long after did he create man? Why did he create dinosaurs first or did he? Do religions believe dinosaurs didn't exist?

First, there are dozens of world religions and, second, each of them has dozens or hundreds of sects within it (including yours) and they're all made up of super far out stories contrary to reality as we know it. So even if anything is correct, 95 percent of you are wrong. (And given that people can't keep a story straight for two days, much less hundreds or thousands of years, let's safely raise the number to 99.9 percent of you are wrong, and probably all of you.) Perhaps it's time to stop being zealous fanatics.

Obviously the Hebrews knew of their ancestors Abraham and Isaac and knew a few of the other myths. However, they didn't know their God.

Moses, a fugitive, a man who had not been raised a Israelite comes and "teaches" them about their God. Mixing their mythology with his Mesopotamian mythology to create a new religion.

Claiming that his new Jehovah/Yahweh character is the nameless God of their ancestors.

Exodus 6:3
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Many of these folks use the Gospel message of Peace and Love to spread hatred in the name of Christ. Isn't doing the opposite of Jesus actually anti-christian, especially if it is done in His name?

My Dream...

This was a weird one for me but it was also weird because half of the time when i do dream i don't remember it afterwards.

My Dream first started on an ordinary day and i was listening to the radio and they were having a contest. I almost turned the radio off but the contest was about a haunted house. There use to be a little kid who lived there but died, no one ever knew whether it was a boy or a girl because you couldn't tell by looking at it and couldn't tell by its name. Im not saying that the kid was ugly because in my dream i cried when i saw it, it was beautiful. So i called and said that i thought it was a girl, i really didn't know but it was a 50/50 chance of winning. One day my dad, mom, and I were driving down the road and my dad saw a real nice yellow mustang and he decided to stop. So while he did i went to see if anyone was home ...the door opened as i knocked. I didn't want to be rude but there was something about the house that caught my attention. As i walked in i heard a kid crying and screaming in the back so i ran to see what was going on. There was writting on the wall of a child's name as i walked down the hallway. I wasn't prepared for what i saw next. There was a kid, but it wasn't really there, just like a shadow. I cried because i could see all of the pain this kid went through and i was seeing through its eyes not my own. It wanted to know why i was crying why i wasn't happy to see it. I wanted to say i was but i couldnt find the words so i just kept on crying and tried to reach it. But it kept backing away from me as if it was scared. That hurt me even worse. You would think that all this time the crying, the screaming, would of made my parents come in ..but soon i realized that i was the only one who had heard the kid. Finally i was able to stop crying and i grabbed for the kid and i was able to touch it. It suprised me when it turned around and the kid was crying. It reached to hug me back and it started to go through me but i pushed it away and told it not to go away i felt as if i needed to be with it to know who it really was before it dissapeared. It told me that it was a girl, and then...my dog woke me up.... I have no clue why i dreamed this...and why i can remember it like it was ....i don't know..please let me know what ya'll think and please be serious don't write anything sarcastic or stupid.

I recieved this comment on a discussion based around religion -

"On the surface. The problem is that the things of God cannot be explained. Some of the biblical events you described are impossible, of course. But that is what makes them miracles! And miracles still happen today. True, there are many frauds but that does not make the real thing any less real. However some people will not be convinced, even by miracles".

Who agrees with this statement and who does not? Can you give me reasons or examples for your choice...?

Peace x

God said in His word to "Be seperate...and come out from among them"

You cannot worship both God & mammon. Darkness cannot coexist with light. When the light comes in (Christ), the darkness (evil) must flee.

If you are gay and call yourself Christian....you are deceiving yourself and not really saved to begin with.

2 Corinthians 7:10 says this: "Godly sorrow produces repentance, leading to salvation"

Salvation only comes by the blood of Jesus through repentance.

Don't be fooled.....get saved.

Scientists who have modeled the flood, suspect there was a heavy canopy of water vapor surrounding the Earth. Dr. Baumgartner, the father of plate tectonics, built into his computer model the idea of a violent release of water from below the ground which shattered the continents. This release was so violent it upset and collapsed the water canopy. This planetary covering would have looked similar to Venus' covering today, and would have created similar thermal effects. It also would have shielded Earth from much of the solar radiation which may account for the longer life spans recorded before the flood, and explains the higher oxygen content we see in old amber pockets.

Other scientists have calculated the force of this ejected water would have carried it into the stratosphere, where it would have returned to the ground frozen after raising the albedo of the planet temporarily. This is what caused the ice age.

It continues for a while, it is like stepping though the looking glass.

I know that we're on the internet but sometimes we really need to be aware of the age of the person asking a question. I feel a moral responsibility to at least offer something helpful even if I disagree with what they were asking. Someone just asked a serious spiritual question who is only 14 and was given a lot of unhelpful information. Again, I realize this is website and we're free to express what we want but would a little thought/restraint be helpful sometimes?
