A billion Hindus. A billion Muslims. A billion non-religious. Hundreds of millions of Buddhists and native religions. Jews, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, Rastafarians, Jains, Taoists. Hmmm, and if you think that those things are all made up, then you've just admitted that humans have a penchant for making up gods and religious systems. Now isn't that interesting.

About a third of the world is Christian.

But here is an interesting factoid:

"The map of global Christianity that our grandparents knew has been turned upside down. At the start of the 20th century, only ten percent of the world's Christians lived in the continents of the south and east. Ninety percent lived in North America and Europe, along with Australia and New Zealand. But at the start of the 21st century, at least 70 percent of the world's Christians live in the non-Western world—more appropriately called the majority world."

The fact is that the "average" Christian is from a third world nation and the religion is growing by leaps and bounds! Atheists make up 2.5% of the worlds population and holding steady. Now that is interesting!

Yes! most of the world is NOT Christian. But the way has been made plain and they are without excuse. The scriptures says: St. Matthew 28:19-20 - "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. A-men
We are to witness (using wisdom) tell other about Christ and leave the rest up to Him. Some will recieve Him and some will reject Him.

Christianity alone may not account for the largest poplulation of the world, but it is the largest religious group. Add to that Judaism and Islam (the other abrahamic religions), and this becomes a religious family that accounts for over 50% of the world population.

None of this can imply that any particular religion is "right" or "true".

I don't disagree one bit that there are more of all of these you mention then there is Christians, Now you try to say, in a slick & sly way, to try to put A Christian in a corner, Friend, you have just met one Christian you can not put in a corner, Do you know why there is all of these other gods, Because satan himself is the god of this earth, therefore Satan has put in people's mind to believe anything that is not true, Just as he has done to you by trying to corner a True Christian. To these people their gods is real, But To the ONE & ONLY TRUE GOD, they all will be famished or destroyed . Read Zephaniah 2:11 God will famish all the gods of the earth, when you use a little g on gods, you are not including The One True God. You are only including false gods that was planted in peoples minds by satan. Now when all said & done, The ONE TRUE GOD will stand when all the others has been famished. You can make your house a god or you car, But that does not mean it is a god. Because There is only ONE TRUE GOD, & he will still be God when all these others man made gods that satan has influnced into people's minds will be destroy. Because these people are serving a demonic spirit. Oh, by the way, That is why the bible speaks about Hell has enlarged itself, So it can take all the other false gods & followers of them & be cast into hell.

Those religions aren't made up, they are mostly degenerated froms of Christianity...

and the ones that aren't, are not necessarily concerned with "God" but rather with balance... not really religion if you ask me..

So yes, I know that most of the world is in the dark. That's why I support missionaries, and I will pray for you.

The whole population at one time thought the sun revolved around the earth but did that make them right?
And the whole world thought the earth was flat at one time but did that make them right?
I don't believe you've done enough searching into the truth of what God has planned for your life?
Don't be so closed minded and bias that you miss out.
Life's too short to screw up eternity.

Something like 7% of the world are Christians. Pretty paltry numbers considering the earth's population.
