Its just that Burka is recognised as having religious sentiments internationally and helmet wearing is not.

Moreover, helmet can be taken to the bank in hand, its an wearing accessory and not a cloth, hence can be removed from the head and taken by hand. So even if you have some religious sentiments attached, its OK because the helmet stays with you all the time.

If your motorcycle helmet has religious significance to you, then quite frankly, you may be the only one. In my part of the country Muslim women don't really wear burkas, so a person wearing one in a bank might look just as suspicious as someone wearing a helmet. I'll be honest- I've never known a biker who had any desire to wear their helmet when they weren't on their motorcycle.

Really. Try wearing a bandana over your mouth and nose into a bank and see what happens. Burka s should not be allowed in banks. Or any buildings where tight security is needed.

And so, you fashion yourself to be a "Hell's Angel." And, btw, when Burka's are outlawed, only outlaws will wear Burka's.

And, of course, this policy is so that you can be viewed properly on the security camera's. A concept that keeps our country free of outlaw bikers trying to hide their identity. I would imagine by now that the banks you speak of probably have camera's in the floor to identify these "Burka Babes." No doubt.

I work in a bank. I may still ask to her to see her face to match it to the ID she has given me. Although, generally I do see it as a religious preference, I don't see it as purposely trying to disguise her appearance. You, on the other hand, I would see as just being stubborn. Most banks don't allow hats or sunglasses either. If you were to go to the same branch all of the time and have the same tellers wait on you, they probably wouldn't say anything to you. They would know you and would just think that you are "different". :-)

When the Mexican beekeeper walked into the bank in his beekeeper outfit, he told the guard that he was just minding his own bees-ness!
