because cats always seem more "on the ball" than your average drooling dog. they also seem a lot smarter. And when you throw a ball to your dog, he just attacks it and brings it back, but a cat goes and investigates. Plus it rhymes better, you know, Curiosity Cat

it didnt kill the cat the cat made a choice to b curous about something zap 9 lives in one shot its a warning to us superior humanoids dont touch fire its hot dont put ur finger in light sockets dont stand in water with live electric cord and in the south if u hear somebody yell, "Hey ya'll watch this!!!!" Its probably the last thing they will say and the last thing u will hear!

Mine stays in a curio cabinet... the cat lives longer that way - except he keeps climbing on top - one day he's gonna tip that cabinet and .... yes...
Curio sitting will kill the cat.
