FYI, I'm a non-theist who considers myself on a "Druid" spiritual path. But I do not believe in God(s). The reason I am a regular in this category, the Religion and Spirituality Category, is this is the place to discuss issues related to spirituality.

My question for you is, why are you a regular to this category.

This is I admit, a variation of the stereotypical "Atheists why are you here?" but I feel this question is a more mature educated persons version of the question.

Is your purpose here to learn and to teach?

Is your purpose here to "win souls" for your religion - you view this as "spiritual warfare"?

Are you here to answer every question with "there is no god there is no soul" or a variation of that answer?

I ask this question respectfully and seriously, in hopes of seeing the reasons why people are regulars to this category.

Does a cult have to turn out bad such as the incident at waco or with helter skelter? Or is it something as simple as giving your life to a cause like a commune?

does any1 agree that if religion didnt exist then niether would all the conflict in the world.that seems to be the only thing people fight over, the catholics and the protestants, muslims and christians these are to name but a few.if nobody believed in such things then you couldnt arge over it and say that your god told you to do this and that.if we all woke up tomorow and there was a world wide ban i feel the world would be a much nicer place.

In countries like US and Canada, we are blessed with material things over our head. We even realize all we have and take everything for granted.

In many countries India, people have nothing to wear, have no electricity, have nowhere to live. In countries like China, churches sometimes have only one or two Bible for the whole congregation.

Do you think God disagrees with our lifestyle? Many Christians say they live for Christ but all they do is work, buy a nice house, buy a car, buy a nice television, go to the restaurants and movies, buy video games (that's me), etc. We buy hundreds of Christian books and CDs to make us feel more Christian. Are we living for ourselves? I don't want to live my life like that.

What do you think? How should we live our life?

Throughout the Bible, there is no mention of pets running around in heaven. The only creatures described in heaven are angels and humans.

The Bible indicates that God is a spirit.10 Angels are also spiritual beings. This is why humans take on a spiritual body so that we can be with God and the angels. However, animals are non-spiritual beings.

The higher animals (including the ones we usually choose as pets) are soulish creatures, which is why they can related to us. However, they lack a spirit, which we humans have, so that their fate is different from ours.

So, will our dogs run around us in heaven?

why is there no mention of dinosaurs in the bible....
if creationism is true then giant reptiles wandering the plains would be one of the most noticable inhabitants of the garden of eden... certainly worthy of a mention at least

I put this out just yesterday, a few points about what we followed a few years ago. I do not know whther or not any of you would recognizre me, for only those top ranking were allowed to even come near, but surely this isn't something you could forget.

I was just wondering if there's any of you ut there willing to converse of what happened. Even any of the "young" ones, and I mean "newer" ones, I'd appreciate you recollecting some of your experiences with me.

And if you know the language, (Anona arit sakai demor jute...), then that'd be even better.

I just want to find others like myself, who were involved in that group years ago. Take my word, that I'm not trying to restore the empire, just curious of the effects it had. Surely some of you must be wondering what happened to the "goddess", your "alpha", after she was exiled. x) It's funny how she brought down the entire structure after that.

Long Live Lerarisin.

Do Christians differentiate between these and scripture actually given to Jesus?

So, I have been thinking... about "The Secret". I wholeheartedly believe in this. So with positive thoughts, actions, and feelings, you can do anything. Well... what if someone started some sort of movement, like...

Let's see how many people we can get to utilize the law of attraction. Through national or even international broadcast, or through chain letters (I hate those, too), the internet, whatever -- "we" as the human race could actually do something fabulous! Eliminate hunger... poverty... global warming... goverment corruption... anything!!

Possible??
