Jesus is described as being like us in all things but sin. So if you're saying He was active as in fornication, no. But if you're saying He was married to Mary Magdalene, it's possible, although not specifically stated. Yes, rabbis were supposed to be married, and Jesus was considered a rabbi. And no, being married would have no effect on salvation. Really, I'm not sure why people are so worked up over it. But tradition doesn't say so, and one would think the people who knew Him would say so if He was. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Actually, if Jesus had been married and had children it would have fallen perfectly into line with the Old Testament. It is one of the objections Jews have to Jesus as the Jewish messiah. There is even one passage that prophesies that the messiah would give an inheritance to a son. The messiah was never expected to be a savior god who would teach new doctrine, he was expected to be a King who would restore the Kingdom of Israel.

Most modern Christian religions probably find this possibility blasphemous, except for the Mormons who believe marriage is a requirement for those seeking exaltation and the God himself has a female counterpart. Considering the Jewish traditions of the time, it's highly unlikely he wasn't married. Still, I think this is something that will continue to be a mystery.

No savior, just a fraud. There were thousands (documented) of people wandering around in the 1st. century claiming to be or having been sent by some Deity. There will be no savior coming. All religion has been contrived by man. You can believe that.

No it would not make him any less of a Savior. It would merely mean that the Catholic Church was too narrow minded to accept that a man is still a man.

Jesus was not just a man. He was part man,and He was God. Plus, it's not like everybody was doing it like they are now. People didn't just sleep with whoever back then. I don't know if it would make Him any less of a Saviour if He were married. But, think about the fact of Him having offspring. That could get complicated.

It would make him look un-godly and then people would freak out. It's sad really, even if he wasn't god's son he still should be remembered for his impact on humanity.
