He also said the theory of relativity pertains to science not moral stance. If you believe there are no absolutes I have two words for you: Rape, Holocaust. Are these things wrong? If you say yes you are declaring an absolute? You views please.

Sorry if this limits the response field.
I spoke on the evidence, proof, the sign of Jonah and judging others. What did your preacher (or you) speak about?

Do you remember?

That you know everything? Example: If you try to say there is gold in Alaska you would have to dig up every square inch to prove that theory wrong? If there were one square inch of land you did not dig up, there may be gold there. And you cannot say there is no gold unless you dig up EVERY square inch. However to prove this theory correct all you have to do is find one piece of gold.Meaning unless you know every answer to every question, you do not know? As long as there are unanswered questions and some shred of evidence God does excist, you could not say He does not? I agree that there are those who say they do not BELIEVE there is a God, but that is your right. I am speaking about those few who try to say God is imaginary, there is no God, prove God to me, so on.

"But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised" (1 Cor. 2:14).

you cannot understand God from a scientific or natural standpoint , because the spiritual things are not related to this natural world!! and THAT'S THE PROBLEMS of many athesit / evolutionist. They confused the natural things with spiritual things and thats why the fall into doubts about the existance of God!!

Atheist if you want to know God is Real you have to believe and receive the Faith and THEN God will show you that he's Real.

faith is like another language, without faith it's impossible that you guys understand what we talk,! it will be like if we'are talking to you guys in chinese, of course you will never understand us, unless you learn chinese Right!! so it's the same thing with The faith!! you'll never understand if you don't have it!!

How come Americans claim that America is a Christian nation or at least founded upon, and yet most Christians do not really read their Bible everyday or for those that do, cannot answer questions concerning the Bible when asked? This is not an attack question so pull in the talons. Just curious

Silly analogy, I know. But is it a fair analogy as compared to inventing a God, drenching society in a bucket filled with that same God and then asking me to disprove that god?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have everyone no matter what they believe just add the Golden Rule of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" The golden rule pretty much encompasses every known rule in all the religions, and if we could finally agree to just adopt and practice this one little rule, wouldn't that finally lead us to world peace?

To all those who read this, if you have read my last post I apologize for my frustrated rant on protostants. But as an observor thats what I observed, and thankfully the christians did not repond in a harsh manor but in a clam manor to inform not to criticize. Well most that is, some were just tacky and unfound answers, but I cannot complain, due to the question I ask to provoke them. I don't think Yahoo Answers is really supposed to be a place for mean unkind posts but instead a debat could we all just think before we post? The people on here are not just avatars spewing information, behind the creepy cartoon is a real person. Some meaner than other but none the less a person. Stop posting things just to get a rise out of people and keep the language down you F*ckers!

I understand atheism very well and I'm a proud WASP. Science dubunks all of your pseudo-scientific theories because all too often scientists skip steps in the scientific method because they already know what results they want to prove. Why can't I believe in my religion in peace without being harrassed by atheists and called an idiot for not believing my great great grandfather was a squirrel? I respect the atheist religion, but I am also getting a little tired of them pushing them views on everyone.

Yeah, now let the name-calling begin. Don't forget to talk about spaghetti.

So I felt like going to catholic church 2 weeks ago with my mother(I'm agnostic). I enjoy churches because it's somewhat of a relaxing event where I can hear from religious folk and their opinions. What intrigued me was when they started talking about how some of the people who broadcasted and/or created "the lost tomb of Jesus" were in court, because they were charged for making the documentary all up? Is that true? please fill me in, I haven't been able to watch any tv for the past 2 weeks...

best scholarly/thoughtful answer gets 10 points.

Did you know around 80% of women in porn were sexually abused as kids?

How much do you spend on porn a year?

How much would it take for you to pose for porn?

How much do you think a person can make from porn after "agents" and others get their cut?

What did people do before porn?

Can you think of any other interesting questions on this subject?
