Well that seems rather obvious. There has to be a concept of a God that people believe in for others to say that they don't believe, right?
Come on, let's get some harder questions...

No.
Atheism is only defined as it is because the history of our world (and the English language) compare it to theism, which was widespread earlier in history because of human superstition. Were there no theism, atheism would exist just as it is...but we'd call it "being normal." :)
Peace.

No, theism is not required for atheism. The non-existence of any entity does not require the theoretical existence of the same entity.

In a sense, yes. If there were no religion, the term "atheism" would make no sense.

Well I was raised as and have always been an atheist. I don't consider my view of "gods are not real" to be weak...and I have never been any bit of a theist.

Atheism is the absence of faith like darkness is the absence of light.

Well I don't see anyone professing asmurfism, presumably because no-one is professing smurfism. It is rather meaningless to adopt a position anti- something that doesn't exist.

I'd really like to answer your question, but it doesn't seem to be making any sense...hang on...nope, thought I caught something vaguely intelligible for a second, but I lost it again.

No, if everyone believed there was no god, then there would be atheists without theists. However, there wouldn't be a term for it, as a term would be unneccessary
