I spoke on the evidence, proof, the sign of Jonah and judging others. What did your preacher (or you) speak about?

Do you remember?

Yeah...I preached it. ;-)

I used illustrations about prospecting for gold (something I did as a kid growing up in California) as a metaphor for keeping a Holy Lent. Getting rid of the dirt and the rocks and the mud and the stones....to find the "gold" of Christ living within us.

He spoke about the power of the first church how they really rallied around each other and when anyone of the congegration was struggling, there were many others surrounding that individual and being the hands of God. They used the scripture of Mark 2:4. Now these were some people caring for their own. Their faith of just getting this man to Jesus and he would be healed!!!! AMEN. They went through the roof to get to Jesus!!!!!!!!!!

Anger management, and how it affects us when we lose our tempers and why we should never make important desicions while angry. Good stuff, we could all use a good lesson in self control.
