Interesting questions, perhaps in the wrong category...
I beleive porn can be both hurtful and helpful. It can serve to stimulate a relationship, thus helping it. It can also help a man learn how to delay his orgasm, thus increasing his stamina and better pleasing the woman. However, overuse by one person in the relationship can cause problems - such as being unable to get aroused by your partner without the aide of porn...not good!!
I was aware of that statistic - this means that 20% were not abused...
I spend probably $150 a year on porn - videos for me and my fiancee...
For a crack at Laylani Lei, Id do it for FREE!! She is the hottest little spinner Ive ever seen! If you meant alone....probably not a whole lot... Im secure with my body...
Girls make about $500 up to $10K per movie. Depends upon their reputation, following, etc.
Porn has been around since art has been around. Just look at a copy of the Karma Sutra!
Perhaps the worse part about porn is that 9 out of 10 real women a) dont do the things in porn videos, b) dont want it in multiple holes, followed up by a mouthful, c) dont want a guy that is 15" long and lasts 45 minutes. BUt, it makes men that watch porn THINK that they want they, and can lead to feelings of inadequacy...
Another interesting question: Are you talkjing to your children about sex? And, if so, are you being open and honest and telling them everything they will need to know?

no,
Porn is a sick and useless way to get jollies
I can believe that 80% of women in porn are sexually abused. And the other 20% have probably hit rock bottom. You can't say that the people who do porn are normal. It's not a normal thing. Most of the men have probably had a bad childhood as well. Same with Gay porn, in fact when you see it you can almost feel the pain coming off of them. I don't look at porn, (although I have seen it from friends, well ex-friends) I would pose in porn because no matter what happens it always comes back to bite you in the ***. This is something you can see throughout history. I think porn 'actors' probably simply make enough money, enough to live for the next week, most are probably rock bottom should going from acting job to acting job, although apparently if you make it with a company you can make quite a bit, sadly its almost like being in an underground Beverly Hills. Porn has always been around, I don't if anyone here has done research on Pompeii but it is very prevalent in the city of Pompeii. Ancient Rome and Greece was filled with it, they treated it the same as we do. There was a very unclear line between porn and art. The difference to me is clear, art is done for the reason of expressing ideas, the artist will make the piece without a guarantee of money, without the guarantee anyone will see it, a porn maker does it only for themselves. If everyone were to stop buying porn there would be no more porn, it is simply a money raping industry!
People who get off watching porn are poor useless people who are addicted to things unreal than those real. Porn has not real satisfaction, its just pictures and movies of people having sex. There is nothing there to cause a real sensation. The only people who find it are sexually unsatisfied people who need to release it anywhere and anyplace.

Porn doesn't hurt anything, unless it's child porn or snuff porn or something, and we have laws against that sort of thing.
Proof, please?
I don't spend anything on porn. You can get enough of it online for free.
I don't think anyone would ask me, but for a good price, why not?
I don't know, but the money's probably not bad.
Porn has been around for eons. Look at Greek carvings and Chinese prints from the BC era. I bet the first man who picked up a piece of rock and realized he could make markings with it on another rock drew a naked woman.
I think that porn does fulfill a need. It may not be the best way, but for some people, it might be the only way.

First, let's refer to it as erotica. Porn is just a pejorative term, and what I would call the "cheaply made stuff."
Erotica has been around for thousands of years. It began as painting, sculpture and poetry, and eventually evolved into literature, photography, acting, and video.
Erotica is simply an alternative form of sexual arousal; it is harmless fantasy and nothing more.
Both men and women (single and in a relationship) have shown a desire to enjoy erotica in some form.
Women should take note that there is a very successful series of erotic anthologies called "Herotica." The stories are all written by female authors - not male!
The latest estimates are that Americans now spend somewhere around $10 billion a year on adult entertainment, which is as much as they spend attending professional sporting events, buying music or going out to the movies.
As long as a partner is taking care of his/her obligations and responsibilities (job, family) and seeing that the other person is being fulfilled sexually, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with enjoying alternative forms of arousal.
Erotica can be "helpful" if it does what its intended to do - arouse men and women.
I suppose it could be "hurtful" if someone in a relationship is being neglected.
Just get used to the fact that healthy men and women occasionally choose to indulge in fantasy and alternative forms of arousal.

Helpful/hurtful, it depends. Once in a while it's okay, but it can become an addiction.
Where did you get the 80% number? Anything official to back that up?
No, I prefer to look at it for free.
I wouldn't do it myself.
The amount someone makes from porn varies, from a few hundred dollars into the millions. Jenna Jameson's net worth is larger than that of many hollywood stars.
There was always porn, just under a different name.

No.
Hurts - the participants are exploited, and the viewers get a distorted objectified view of sex - making a healthy sexual relationship more difficult.
Didn't know that stat.
Nothing.
A lobotomy.
I don't know.
I didn't know there was a human time "before porn"
