It's not written anywhere in the bible. It started because Martin Luther and John Calvin started protesting against the church. It was induced by man and is not scriptural at all.

The Protestant Reformation happened many centuries after the writing of Scripture. It is generally considered to have officially started on October 31, 1517 when Martin Luther posted the 95 theses on the door of the Wittenberg Church.
The 95 theses were 95 things that Martin Luther found in studying the Scriptures that the church was doing against the Word of God. It was written with the purpose of restoring the Catholic church to truth. It was not well received.
Over the next century, the Reformation took place as the Renaissance saw the growth in knowledge. Greek was rediscovered, and the ancient texts of Scripture could be read once again. The printing press permitted many more people to have access to knowledge.
This gave rise to the Church of England. King Henry the VIII started the Church of England primarily for his own purposes, not for any desire to serve God, but the result was lasting, as the reformers who disagreed with the teachings of the Catholic church finally had a place to go where they would not be persecuted.
Before long, however, the Church of England started to be just as oppressive and restrictive as the Catholic Church. A group of people called the Puritans, who were believers that sought religious truth zealously, realized that no government should ever control doctrines of God, because it always results in political figures twisting it to their own ends.
They boarded a ship called the Mayflower, and came to America. You probably know the rest.

The Reformation happened long after the last book of the Bible was penned. John predicted this, Rev. 6, starting with v.5. When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say; Come and see. So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat upon it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and the wine.
This is the point of departure for the third horseman of the Apocalypse.
The priests had the scriptures all sown up in Latin. (They had control of the spiritual springs of water or could control prophetic interpretation/there was a famine of the word/no spiritual rain.) The fiery Martin Luthor, broke up that monopoly. Besides, Martin wanted to expose those deceitful Priests by translating the Bible into the common German vernacular.

The Protestant Rebellion and the doctrinal chaos and fragmentation of Christianity that have resulted from it were clearly prophecied in 2 Tim 4:3-4.

The candlestick was removed from the catholic church centuries ago.Back when they were putting the Anti-baptist and Waldenseess to death for not excepting their infant baptism.Back when they started worshiping stone images and Mary.Back when they started charging people to have their sins forgiven. When the pope meant more than God.Protestants pray as Jesus taught "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,on earth,as it is in heaven".But catholics pray "Our will be done in heaven as it is in earth". You all seem to have the notion that you have the keys to heaven but when you get there you will find them to be the keys to Hell.
We are also warned that in the latter days that there will be those that would depart from the faith and give themselves over to seducing spirit, and doctrines of devils:Speaking lies in hypocrisy;Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which BELIEVE and KNOW the TRUTH 1 Timothy 4:1-3. But you know longer hold the truth and this scripture alone has proved that.

It's not. The Protestant Reformation was basically a bunch of people breaking away from the Catholic Church. However, since the Catholic Church is not the form of Christianity that Jesus established, isn't that kinda like 2 wrongs making/not making a right???

Amazing question|
---------------------------
I for one hold that it is in there - in the book of Revelation|
A priest by the name of Herman Kramer wrote a book that interprets the Book of Revelation|
It is called "The Book of Destiny."
Now the amazing thing is, the thesis of that book is that Revelation is not just about a bunch of disasters that are about to happen in the near future, as is commonly believed, but covers the whole of salvation history from the Resurrection of Christ to the End of the World (and beyond)|
For example, we can look at the *seven trumpets* of Revelation, which are covered in chapters 8 and 9|
The first trumpet is the barbarian invasions of the Roman Empire, causing its fall. The second trumpet is the Mohomedan scourge of the seventh century (where they ripped across North Africa, destroying all Christian communities there - 400 diocese in all - invaded Spain in 711, conquering it, then proceeded into what is now present day France to be stopped by Charles Martel at the battle of Tours in 732, thus saving all of Europe)|The third trumpet is the Greek Schism of 1054|The fourth trumpet is the Great Western Schism of the 14th century (where there were three claimants to being Pope)|The fifth trumpet is the Protestant Revolt of 1517 by Martin Luther, and the sixth trumpet we are living in now which is the apostasy from God and truth in general.
Kramer interprets all of this by using an understanding of the symbolic keys of the book of Revelation| Like the Book of Daniel, the Book of Revelation belongs to a class of literature known as "Apocalyptic Literature," which is its own unique genre, which is studied by select scholars and historians|
Now Kramer goes into some detail in his book about the fifth trumpet, which is the Protestant "Reformation." For one thing, he identifies the angel of the abyss as Martin Luther himself|
With my studies of Catholic prophecy, I see chapter ten of Revelation (next up), as the predicted era of peace under the Great Monarch and the Angelic Pastor| The mighty angel could be interpreted as the Great Monarch himself, and Kramer says that the "Seven Thunders" is a great ecumenical council. In fact, in Catholic prophetic tradition, there is common reference to an ecumenical council (like Vatican II, Trent, Nicea, and that sort of thing are ecumenical councils), that will be the greatest ecumenical council of all time, up to that point in time in history| In that council, the true sense of Scripture will be defined, which will be accepted by everybody, so that no one will be able to pervert the Word of God.
Now that era of peace lasts until the rise of Antichrist, who rises because people living in such abundance and prosperity forget God again, allowing for his rise|
The reign of Antichrist will be so horrible (nothing like it has been seen before, and nothing like it will be seen again), that many of the Church Fathers have said that the 3 1/2 years duration of his reign indicated is a *literal* figure because God wants to give Christians, who are enduring it, a knowledge of the *exact time limit* on it| Antichrist is described in Chs 11-17 of Revelation|
And then there is the millennial era of peace described in Chapter 20 of Revelation, which will last not exactly 1000 years (since the figure 1000 in Revelation is symbolic, in that it is the *coefficient of immensity*)| Possibly millions of years could pass, but there is a final assault by Gog (Rev. 20:7-10), which will without further ado be put down by God, and following will be the coming of Christ in body and glory to judge the living and the dead.
So yes, the Reformation is in the Bible, and so are a lot of other things|

You will find it in Jesus' letter to the church in Sardis. Note that because the Protestant Reformation occurred many years after the Bible was written, that did not stop God (who dwells outside of space-time) from prophesying its appearance in the future. Note that Jesus did not have many good things to say about this era of church history.
See details in my study below.

Two points David: 1) People REALLY do not like it when you use their own words and tactics against them and 2) I suggest we try to NOT be like the Catholic-bashers.
Peace.
