Do we agree that,
Genocide, rape, murder is immorral,

but do we disagree on:

Aren't they both Islamic? Or do they have different views on Islam? I heard that the Shites believe that Mohammed is the only prophet, but the Sunnis also believe his direct decendents are prophets. Is this the only difference?

People need to be more specific because a thousand different things are meant when people use the word "God," and tons of them aren't Biblical. The word no longer has any meaning. And for those who speak of a Universal force or inner light, perhaps "Supreme Being" is best.

This is a bone of contention among fellow believers.
Personally, I have no problems being baptized in Jesus' name or in Father Son & Holy Spirit.

Is that all?

I know many posters will say, no. They will say things like "I worship God because he gave me life" or stuff like that.

But really, what is the point of having a God. Isn't it purely for self-interest?

Serious questions please.

There is rhetoric going around that some are very rigid, smacking their kids when they make games about ghosts and fairies. The opposite spectrum of the Puritan, and just as tyrranical. I knew that they did not believe in an organized religion concept of god, but how can anyone deny that there is magic in the world? Or even the possibility? We know there is a spirit because the body loses a certain amount of weight when it dies. It's energy. Very scientific if you ask me. Does that anger Atheists, or do they accept that there is a paranormal world?

I posted my proof against God in one of Markyyy's questions.

My proof was that since God was omnipresent there would be evidence of him/her/it it my water and since there was none it proves that God doesn't exist.

Now every day I come to work I bring a new unopened bottle of water and put it on my desk and start working but every time I pick it up to drink the bottle is already opened (the seal is broken).

I thought I was just forgetting that I opened it so I did an experiment.

I took a bottle of water from home. Took it to my office. Placed that bottle on my desk and removed the one from yesterday. I sat down and lo and behold my new bottle was open.

I grabbed yesterdays to see if I picked up the wrong one by mistake but no, both bottles are open and have been drunk down to the same point.

I also called home to check to see if any of the bottles at home are open and I was told no.

Is God trying to prove his existence to me?

Or is it just a ghost?

If our morals are internal, biological, or self-imposed, how can we impose them on others? or expect them from others?

I am very intrested & have purchased the book Solitary Witch. So far I totaly agree with the beliefs represented in the book. Although I also believe in Jesus. God/Goddess to me is a energy not male or female. Jesus in my belief is God/Goddess energy manafested in human form. So far I have not found any refrence to God/Goddess manifested at any time here on earth. Without this I must continue searching for support in my beliefs. Peace & Harmoney to all.

About the real R!S and not what you see on the front cover on some news stand.

R!S isn't some loving, caring section of supposed knowledge seekers. It is a cut throat society; kill or be killed. One minute you're on top of it the next people backstab you and bring you down. It's a vicious community that lacks no mercy. People tag you that are out to get you, and they will if you arn't careful.

Hopefully it'll become a bestseller. What do you think?

Doesn't that mean that the smart people do what they want, think of their own pleasures and needs and God will forgive them? Why be "good?"
