I keep hearin people say they have a close, personal relationship with Jesus.

So I'm wonderin where do you guys hang out?
Does he pick you up or do you drive?
Does Jesus blab the entire time or does he let you talk too?

The other day when Dateline showed thier Special
*How to catch a Predator* hundreds of males, (Soldiers,Teachers, Doctors, Rabbi's) men of supposed Good Character were caught in a *Sting* trying to have Sex with underaged kids they had been on-line having cyber sex chat with. These men said they would of never did this hadn't been for the Internet?
What is your thought on this?

God appeared as a stranger in the night and fought ..I guess God struggled hand to hand with Jacob, the second son of Isaac...Then after seeing that He cannot defeat Jacov , God gave Jacob a new name ...Israel..
Why did God struggled with Jacob?I guess God took a force coresponding to a human being..otherwise He could defeat Jacov with a finger..

I was listening to my Sirius radio when a christian station that takes up the same number on my regular radio kicks in (as it usually does at the same location each day). On this channel, they were discussing tithes and how some find it hard to fit tithing into their budgets. This station was willing to help people by selling their listeners a budget tool that would allow them to rearrange their finances so they could fit tithing into their routine.

I was in shock when I heard this (as I am with many other things they say on this channel). I was surprised that not only are they trying to get people to give who obviously cannot afford it, but they are selling them the program to do it.

For those who believe in tithing, why is it so important to give that you have to go broke to do it? Is it wrong to shame people into giving when they don't have it to give? I understand that churches need money to operate, but why not let those who can afford it carry the load?

Often in Yahoo Answers the question has been posed - Evolution vs Creationism. This is of course absurd because the traditional "6000 years - 6 days" just doesn't play out with the facts and evidences.

What is, I believe, a more worthy "conversation" is that of Darwinian Evolution vs Theistic Evolution.

Stephen Jay Gould's punctuated equilibrium furthers Darwin by saying if we went back in time several hundred million years and then go forward to the present, the species would not be the same as they are now, and there wouldn't be human beings.

The undirected process of Evolution, or the hand of God being involved directing and leading to the human being.

My Director and I were wading in a still rainy, almost knee deep flooded field. There were a number of pigs in the field...some looked sickly...I was trying to show her what the pigs could eat---I found some cabbage still rooted in the fields and was educating my Director how to get the pigs to eat the food---I took each pig over to the food source to show her how to get them to eat the food....I don't remember the rest....

Can I just tell them to "shake the dust off of their feet" or whatever and have them mark me down as "unrepentant?" I've tried being polite, I've tried being rude, I just want them to leave me alone! When jesus was baptized of John he said Suffer it to be so. To fulfill all righteousness.

this begs the question if jesus suffered to fullfill all the commandmnents of God, would that not all logically and reasonably say he fulfilled Gods commanment to be married. ??
