Jesus is the Way to God. So? Pray to Jesus aabut your deceased relative or friend.

Jesus is the intermediary to others in heaven. Or to let you know if someone is in a place of rest, or if someone is in hell fire.

If someone is in heaven or a place of rest, Jesus will get the message to that someone, and get a message back to you.

I think the only ones one can talk to spiritually in the presence of the Lord are His Holy Prophets.

People are a body, soul & spirit. The body goes into the ground and turns to dust. The wages of sin is death. The Soul goes to God or to hell fire. The born again person has a reborn spirit combined with the soul & is redeemed by His blood and goes to heaven. Later to put on a new everlasting body, like Jesus raised up in.

There's no evidence of any kind that would even remotely indicate that it's possible. Sorry.

We all know how hard it is to lose a close relative or friend -- we miss them very much, we think about them often, and we're sad that they're no longer around. Some people turn that sadness and longing into a belief or hope that there is some kind of afterlife -- that this person may have died, but that they still exist somewhere. While such a hope can be somewhat comforting, it's not based on anything real -- it's just irrational hope. There's no evidence there's anything beyond physical death.

Your loved ones in a sense continue to exist as long as you (and others) remember them -- that's a comforting thought that doesnt' require believing in things for which there is no evidence. They made their mark on the world during their lives by their actions, and remembering the good things they did and what they meant to you should comfort you in your loss...without having to resort to irrational wishful thinking about an afterlife.
I hope you find comfort.

Peace.

Goodness... such a question....

I suppose you could try, but there are some things to consider.

Isreal's first king, Saul, used a medium to contact a dead prophet. This did not bode well for Saul, and the profit was ticked off that he was disturbed.

The other thing is that TIME is pretty much irrelevant in heaven. I reckon God exists on a different dimension to what we currently are able to understand... beyond time.

It's kind of like sending a letter to your next door neighbour telling her you miss them, and will be coming over in five minutes. By the time the letter gets there, the two of you have gone on a road trip.

I don't there's anything sinful in getting God to put a message through.

I wouldn't just t go ask for my dead grandmother to come tell me where she put the windy-key for her clock. She got cranky enough when she was alive!

I really do think people stick around sometimes, lost, not even aware that they died. There are many stories of people who see their dead friends, during an astral body experience, and it turn out they were called upon to gently inform the person that they are dead.
It happened to me. The friend was walking down the street and I became frightened. He chased me, and caught up. I said you can't come in my house. He asked why and I told him he was dead. He was so relieved, and it was like everything was better after that, and he just left. When I went back to my room, I saw myself lying there, asleep. Sinking back into the body was like the feeling of when your foot falls asleep.
I think once they do know they can leave, they do, once all business is finished. And they go somewhere that is a totally and fresh new life.
Not heaven though. Another layer of the continuing journey.

Go ahead and pray to God to deliver a message to a deceased relative or friend...just have them vividly in mind and feel them in your heart as well when you pray.

there would be no need for communication because if they are in heaven they are going to be super busy worshiping Jesus Christ.
Revelation 4:10
the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:11"You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being."

If the opposite is true they will not be able to answer either.
Luke 16:27-31 He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.' 29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.' 30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' 31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

God answers prayers of His Children when they pray through His Son, Jesus. If you are a lover of knowledge, seek Jesus and you will not only find the answers, but if you ask Him, He will give you wisdom also. The Lord be with you. Rebecca
