that everyone had to give all thier worldly possesions to them and live in a 4by4 cement cell with no windows and no doors nothing in there but a bible and a small slit where they would push a tray of food into once a day

Not sure what your question is, but I think this sounds a bit cultish if you ask me.
Also, what are you supposed to do with the Bible? If there are no windows and no doors, what light source do you have by which to read it?
And a 4X4 cell certainly doesn't sound very big. No room to move or anything like that.
