LOL. Okay... I live in an area where there are alot of Amish, and they've have come to my house to do carpentry work and they use electric drills, pneumo-whatever nailers, electric saws. It is completely fine to use electric as long as the source isn't from THEM or their home...make sense? So, if a Amish guy DID have his beard snagged on the buggy wheels HE COULD use an electric trimmer...it's BATTERY and free himself from the ground and lookin' at the horses' ****!

Firstly, I rather doubt an Amish person would have an electric trimmer handy.

Secondly, why are you so rude and blatantly disrespectful? Why can't you accept someone else's beliefs and let them believe them? It's not like the Amish are hurting you...

i totally dig on amish people....my dad takes a lot of them and their horses to sales and he's friends with them. cool people, hard workers, don't ever push their beliefs on others...cool people.
