In These last days (II Timothy all of Chapter 3) people seem to be more into themselves then anything else and are willing to do anything for money or attention that comes and goes. 20 years ago people showed more love for one another and it wasn’t as bad as it is now. Money is only temporary substance, but the kingdom of God lasts for ever and by how your life is seen before God's eye depends if you will make it there after this life.

I think I'm ready, but have atleast 1,000 questions.
1) What should my sinner's prayer sound like?
2) Do i have to have my head dipped in water to be truly saved or can i do it just with the answer to the first question alone?
3) If I don't follow the 10 commandments, do i go to hell even if saved?
4) Lets say i died a saved person, and only made 1 lie with out asking forgiveness during that time. I'd still go to heaven, of course?

my mother and sister are convinced that my grandfather (very dead) comes to see them... they know he is there by a particular smell...whiskey in fact.... im completely serious... thats what they believe

my question is this why would otherwise intelligent people.... when they get this smell automatically think dead relative instead of more likely or logical solutions???

I bought a hi-end stereo system for my friends car on my credit card as a loan. He owes me $2000. He currently has no job. I was reading the bible the other night and saw the passage saying forgive others debts as I(JESUS) forgive your debts. I currently dont have a job either but might come into some money in two weeks, should I forgive his debt and take a loss? Or make him pay me? He has paid very minimum payment last month. What should i do???

Explain to me how it is fair that someone is punished for a sin they did not commit themselves?

Explain how it is fair that the ONLY way many Christians think that you can get into heaven is to not only believe in a god, but their version.

Explain how if you are not a Christian, then it does not matter how good of a person you are.

I am not trying to be rude, but this doctrine does not makes any sense, nor does it seem fair.

Pretend for one moment that you are an atheist. Would this still make sense? I am an atheist and plenty of things in certain religions make sense to me. I can understand them, but I don't agree with them. This is not one of those things.

If you are an atheist, does this doctrine seem fair to you?

John 14:6 in the Bible says, "Jesus said to them, I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father unless they come through me." Luke writes in the book of acts concerning Jesus, "There is none other name given among men whereby we "must" be saved."

To be prepared to meet God according to these scriptures you
have to be saved through Jesus Christ. Remember -- He did not say He was one of many ways! He said He is "the" way.
By proclaiming Himself to be "the" truth - He was declaring to all generations that He was the source of all truth. By saying that He was "the" life - He declared that there was life in no other.

Either Jesus was a liar or He is what He says He is! If He is what He says He is then everyone who claims to lead you to salvation any other way or through any other person doesn't know the truth and is leading you astray.

Everyone must make this determination for himself or herself.
Nobody can do it for us. What will you do with Him?

I just read part of an answer. A person said it was wrong for Jesus to infect a heard of swine with demons, and then kill them. Someone replied that killing animals is not murder.I've had Christians tell me, it's ok to kill animals, because they don't have a soul. I wondered why Christians believe this. Even if you don't believe people reincarnate as animals; doesn't the animal have a soul, just as we do, because were both alive?
