No I do not believe it, and I believe it is some new age false relegion. It is something man has made up to suit himself, and make himself feel better....but in the end, his salvation is worthless.
Jesus says "I am the only way, truth and life, no one comes to the Father but through Me" John 14:6
What if you are wrong about this question? Just what if? That is a big what if isn't it? According to God's standards we have all sinned against Him (Romans 3:23) and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) but God has done something so we would not have to go to hell, He has given us salvation through Jesus! And when you believe that, and repent of sin, you will be saved--redeemed by His blood and given a new heart with new desires that please Him. God is awesome and I hope and pray that you will hear this message and really think about it. Because if the gospel of Jesus Christ is right, there will be an outcome--and it is not good for those who rejected Him.
If you are right and salvation is in ourselves, well, nothing happens. I know the Lord is our Savior, that it is only through Jesus Christ, because it is HIS power that is working in us who are being saved- His word is truth and "Faith comes from hearing, and by hearing the word of God" -Romans 10:17
TRUE salvation comes from Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

-Thank you Lord!

Yes. The Lord must find your soul worthy before he chooses to save you, you will not be fooling him of your true intentions. The only way to be seen worthy is to repent for your sins with a sincere heart and effort. So it starts from within.

No, I don't agree at all. Salvation comes from the Lord. Response to this salvation comes from within.

That's an eastern philosophy.

Unfortunately, we can't earn our own salvation. Fact is, we don't deserve it.

"I am the way, the truth, and the light, no one comes to the father except through me."
-Jesus
