we happen to be very much in love but we worry that there might be conflict because of our different religons??we have been together for 7 months and it is something that we talk about and we get frustrates about,we also respect each other's beliefs.

i have read that alot of dif books were in fact written but not added to the bible by the church,, how many were there and how many are in the bible

That whole Vow of Poverty thing could interfere with sending kids to college. Then your kid would be hanging around the church, bumming smokes and getting into trouble. Sooner or later he would wise up and latch onto the Ministry, creating a line of succesion. Besides, who would want to marry a priest?

Hello, all:

I've been asked to officiate at three handfastings (one this summer, two this fall), and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good handfasting resources, either online or in book form? I already know about http://www.handfasting.info/ but was hoping for some from a bit further afield.

Or if someone has recommendations based on personal experience, that would also be excellent.

These will be the first handfastings I've ever performed, so I'm a bit nervous!

my freind was in the hospital a few hours ago, she saw many angles with her grandfather, they do have thick white wings, they told her, in telepathy, when he is going to dye, 11 pm, she had doubts it might be 1 am, she called me and told me, it wasn't the first time she said that she can see angles, she can fly on her bed too, later her grandfather died at 11 pm.

Like you would kill for cheesecake? Because then, God is a sinner...

Didn't you know he only created us to make more cheesecake (and some pie too)? But 1/3 of the angels like pasta, so Lucifer took them to hell where the pasta cooking is better. RAmen.

Heaven is freezing cold, because God is too lazy to get refrigeration (and yet he has cable...hmm...).

So is God sinning? P.S. God accidently said "be fruitful" he meant "I don't like fruit toppers on my cheesecake..." But Eve liked Ramen so God kicked her and her boyfriend out of the House.

I want to start going back to church and stop drinking but my husband is at a different point in his life and he has no intentions of stopping partying or drinking anytime in the near future. We are both 21 years old and have two kids and I want to start living a better life now and I know he is nowhere near that point yet. I know I can go to church myself with my kids but I don't want to have to go at it alone. I want someone to be there to support me and bring me up when I fall and I would like to do the same for him. I love my husband very much but he is going through a stage right now that I have already gone through and would like to put in the past. I don't want to be living two totally seperate lives. I asked him to go to church with me and he doesn't want to...I know I can't force him and I am not going to try. I just don't know what to do. I am afraid if I go back to church it is just going to pull us apart.

99% of the responders on this site seem only to do so to argue or insult. Yahoo says this is a web site to learn and enrich your life hopefully thru intelligent dialogue. If anyone gets angry or offended at what I say, I can't help that. Don't like it? Don't read it. Who's FORCING anything on you? Opinions are a waste of time. Truth & facts are what matter. What I say can be backed up by the Bible (chapter & verse), the Constitution, or cases in court. If you can't respect my right to believe as I do, why respond? The Constitution says NOTHING about "separation of church and state". Don't believe everything you hear and go read it for yourself. I have a copy. Freedom of Religion applies to every religion - not just my own - so don't single mine out. The ACLU is trying to outlaw ALL nativities in NYC, even private. And one of you said they're fighting for MY rights? Get real. Get informed before responding. Our OPINIONS are meaningless re: religious matters so why bother? Insults?
