There is no comparison between the Lord and Satan. Satan can only do what God allows, his power is limited, and all that he offers results in negative consequences and death. Do not be fooled by earthly pursuits. This is all temporary, but following the Lord leads to eternal life, peace, and love. Miji

You actually need an answer to that?
Sure, he doesn't ignore you but he charges very high prices and ultimately your soul. God's blessings are free.
"You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive because you ask with wrong motives"
James 4:2,3
P.S. Who threw whom out of Heaven and why? Do you actually believe there's no price on whatever satan does for you? Eternity in Hell isn't worth ANY material thing or the fulfillment of all of your, "I wants".

"...,don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes the enemy of God." James 4:4
The world is Satan's domain - for now. That's what this verse is referring to.
Better than any material thing is the experience of joy - not extreme happiness or feeling good but TRUE JOY that makes you positively glow and makes others want what you have. But it can only come by God's Spirit dwelling within you.

God doesnt ignore you... he just doesnt necessarily give you what you want, when you want it. I know, I've been asking to find my Eternal Companion (Soulmate) for ages, because I'm 20 and desperate to get married, and he keeps telling me that I'm not ready yet, and that I have to get my A Levels done and go on my Mission. (I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)

There is no way, that Satan could ever be as good or better than God. Satan isnt even the equivalent of God, Satan started out as one of God's Angels and didnt agree to the plan of Salvation, because he wanted to come down and bring us all back without the freedom to choose (ie, he was prepared to take away our freedom of choice), and he wanted all the Glory of it.... and he couldnt accept that Jesus could do a better job than him.

It is important to take note that belief in Satan as an anthropomorphic being is absurd, as is the same with the Christian concept of God.

The portrait of Satan within many literary works, such as Paradise Lost, by Milton, champions Satan over God, and rightfully so!

You should also take note that most Satanist's do not perceive Satan as an anthropomorphic being, but a metaphor for the balancing factor in Nature.

A quick look at The Nine Satanic Statements found in The Satanic Bible, by Anton Szandor LaVey gives a detailed description of what Satan represents.

The Christian concept of God is just worthless in my opinion. Their god is a terrible one hating the very things that it creates. Encouraging men to kill in his name, rape small children, and encourages man to kill what he doesn't understand.

Satan on the other hand encourages man to take pride in himself. To rise up, and take control over his life. So to give you a quick answer to your question, Is Satan better than God?

Yes!

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Absolutely NOT!
Satan is the opposite of anything good, loving, or kind.
Satan is the one who counterfeits anything that God has created good, and corrupted it.

Satan is better at being Satan than God is. But God could be better at being Satan than Satan if he tried.

Satin is a selfish self-centered being that enslaves and controls people through spirits of jealousy, envy, lust, and he leads them into rath murders stealing , hatred. His purpose is to steal and destroy. His heart principle is pride which means the thinks he is better than every one else therefore has the right to control you. He produces a life style in others that is selfish and self-centered. Know anyone like that? Those who think he is better produce the above qualities.

The heart of God is summed up in one word, humility. This is word that is little understood. It means that he chooses not to look down on you even though he is the creator of everything. He chooses to lift you up even above himself in his attitude toward man. His outward actions toward every man is summed up in the word "love". However the Bible word love is not a feeling as many think. It actually means he makes right decisions toward you inspite of how he may feel toward you. People who think God is better live after by the principle of humility. They lead an unselfish, others centered lifestyle. There live style is charactized by love, joy, peace, long-suffering , gentleness, kindness
You have to make up your own mind which one is better.
