I Yahchanan 3:7-8—
7 Little children, let no man deceive you; he who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous
.
8 He who commits sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Yahweh was manifested; that He might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo 3:4 ¶ Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
I Yahchanan 3:10—
In this the children of Yahweh and the children of the devil are manifest. Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of Yahweh, and he does not love his neighbor!
Deuteronomy 6:25 And it will be our righteousness, if we observe to do all of this Law before Yahweh our Father, as He has commanded us.
Mattithyah 6:33—
But seek you first the Kingdom of Yahweh and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Mattithyah 7:17—
Likewise, every righteous tree brings forth righteous fruit; but a tree of evil brings forth fruit of iniquity.
Breaking Yahweh's Laws classifies anyone as evil.
Again we see the word iniquity which means: transgression of the law, not subject to the law.
Strong's Greek Lexicon
"iniquity"
458. anomia an-om-ee'-ah from 459; illegality, i.e. violation of law or (genitive case) wickedness:--iniquity, X transgress(-ion of) the law, unrighteousness.
459. anomos an'-om-os from 1 (as a negative particle) and 3551; lawless, i.e. (negatively) not subject to (the Jewish) law; (by implication, a Gentile), or (positively) wicked:--without law, lawless, transgressor, unlawful, wicked.
do you understand? Organized religion is not teaching true righteousness, so what can you expect?

What religion says that religion is to guide and help us? I'm a Christian, and Christians believe that God is supposed to guide and help us, and that through the Word of God, as spoken in the Bible. And why would you blame God even if some of His followers don't heed Him? That's not His fault.

What ever gave you the idea that religion was supposed to
guide you through life. It is actually supposed to show you how
to survive the next life in Paradise as opposed to torment, but
somewhere along the line the zealots got control and now it's
about who your supposed to hate.

This is the deed of men and zealots. If you read the bible we are instructed to be gentle and patient with our dealings of others. Not kill them. The people who do these things will not be taking the rewards promised to those who act the way they should unless they repent of their wicked deeds. I once asked the same question myself, but if you look deeper, you will find that current day events are just setting a stage for something greater to come soon.

First, abortion must be between the mum, the daddy (if he cares), and their God. no longer the gov't, NOW, the ACLU, the Christian Coalition or the different entity. you're spectacular with regards to the muslim terrorists and their fanaticism for their faith. keep in mind that even between muslims, they're in a tiny minority. And once you combat somebody who extremely believes God is on their part the only consequence stands out as the dying of one of you. the unconventional Christian surprising is likewise fanatical (nevertheless regularly no longer deadly) with regards to the Bible and what it says. inspite of the incontrovertible fact which you're grouping all christians mutually in this extremism - and that heavily isn't precise in any respect. Extremes of any sort are in many cases undesirable (devour too plenty candy and your enamel fall out, bypass loopy approximately YOUR God and you kill others in his call). however nearly all of people in faith (all religions) at the instant are not loopy and don't want to wreck others. it rather is a actuality. If it weren't we would all be ineffective via now and the rats could be working the earth (alongside with cockroaches, yet I digress). Marriage is a non secular act - no longer a governmental one. particular gov't has discovered a thank you to make $$$ from marriage (licensing), however the act of marriage is in the previous your God. in case your faith helps gay marriage then so be it. Few religions enable this. i do no longer understand if homosexuality is incorrect (it rather is as much as God to come to a decision), inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it does seem scientifically unnatural in view that at their basest point, animals come mutually to augment their species (the better tiers of animals like mammals, reptiles, and birds), and 2 animals of a similar intercourse won't be able to try this. faith is amazingly important to ninety% of the globe. In us of a of america there is an outright attack on faith. remember the entire faith clause interior the 1st substitute once you point out "non secular persecution" : "Congress shall make no regulation respecting a company of religion OR prohibiting the loose workout thereof;". 10 Commandments monuments in parks at the instant are not an "business enterprise" of religion yet forcing their removing is "prohibiting the loose workout thereof".

Uh, Dbznut, could you edit your answer and tell me a war that was fought over evolution or science? I was a fairly good student of history, but I must have been out sick that day.

Do you have a statistic to substantiate your assertion?
I am not sure what you say is true.
I don't think World War I or World War II were primarily religious wars.
