I think I'm ready, but have atleast 1,000 questions.
1) What should my sinner's prayer sound like?
2) Do i have to have my head dipped in water to be truly saved or can i do it just with the answer to the first question alone?
3) If I don't follow the 10 commandments, do i go to hell even if saved?
4) Lets say i died a saved person, and only made 1 lie with out asking forgiveness during that time. I'd still go to heaven, of course?

thanks for all answers. KcT :)

ok...first
You pray to God by yourself. God wants to hear from YOU. Not a repeat from someone else or a verse. He wants to hear how you speak and he wants you to talk to him like a friend.
second. Baptism is NOT head dipped in water. Baptism is meant as a spiritual burial. Buriying your sins. By doing that you have to die spiritualy. to do that you pray. then you will be buried. like Jesus was buried. You go all the way underwater. Like how Peter baptised. Then when you "rise again" its speaking in tongues. Acts 2:38 tells it all. You have to be baptised in the name of Jesus like it says in Acts 2:38.

1) Say whatever is on your heart. The basic idea of your prayer should be to ask forgiveness, confess belief, and ask God to guide you.
2) No, you don't have to be baptized or anything like that if you don't want to. Baptism is only a symbol, and a testimony.
3) You should at least TRY to follow the Ten Commandments. But we all fail sometimes. Just be sure to ask forgiveness.
4) I don't believe that you would go to hell, if you died before you had the chance to ask forgiveness. For example, let's say you are saved, and you have had all your sins forgiven. Then one day, while you're stopped at a red light, you see an attractive woman, and have lustful thoughts. Moments later, a semi hits your car and you're killed instantly. I believe you'd still go to heaven.
But there's no way to know for sure. God is the judge of that; I believe He is merciful.

Call on the Name of the Lord and be saved. For a prayer, pray to God, tell him you are a sinner, and that you ask forgiveness. Acknowledge that Jesus died and rose again, for you. And ask Him to come into your heart. Tell Him you will serve Him the rest of your days, pray in the Name of the Lord, Jesus. See Romans 10:9-13 for more information.
All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. I believe habitual sin could keep you from some rewards, but as a Christian, you will want to repent.
I don't believe baptism is a requirement for salvation, but something you should do as a sign to people that you believe.

1) The prayer should sound like the one at http://www.matthiasmedia.com.au/2wtl but should be put in to your own words.
2) Acts 2:36 "Repent and be baptized (from baptismo which been immersion), every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Baptism is not a prereqisite or a postrequisite for salvation it is the symbol of dying with Christ (going under the water) and rising again to new life (coming up from under the water). It is a proclaimation of your faith and salvation.
3) No, but you will be changed inside so that you will want to follow the 10 commandments and you will be given the power to do so.
4) The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin but that does not give us licence to sin. Yes, you would still go to Heaven if you genuinely repented as in number 1).

1) It needs to be sincere, God knows your heart even if the words which come from your lips are halting. He sees the heart.
2) Water Baptism is an outward sign of your coming to Christ. Sort of like making a "public announcement"
3) No one follows the 10 commandments perfectly. You are not condemned but saved.
4) Christ died for your sins, all of them. We cannot keep track of all the possible sins we may or may not commit. God knows that, and Jesus takes care of that.

You did not ask but what is most important is surrounding yourself with Godly people who will help you grow in Christ. Then a lot of the answers will be revealed to you.
God Bless you and if you have any other questions, I would consider it a blessing to answer what I can.

1) Similiar to this: Lord Jesus and Father in heaven, I come to you today and admit I am a sinner. I ask that you forgive me and come into my heart and stay with me always. I hear your knock and want you to come in and show me the will you have for me.

This should be done in front of people, for the Lord said that if you stand for Him before others, He will stand for you before the father. Most churches offer a chance to step forward at the end of their sermon for the day for this exact reason, take the stand.

2) Having the Holy Spirit inside you is what saves you, not the water. The water is symbolic but should be done anyway to help you remember that your sins were washed away.

3) If you have the Holy Spirit with you, you can sin a hundred times and not go to hell. (that does NOT mean you should!) The Holy Spirit is what seperates the sheep from the goats, you should still ask to be forgiven, but you WILL get in to heaven so long as the Spirit is with you. Once you are saved, you are forever in the hand of the Lord unless you decide to leave it and rebel.

4) Yes, you would get into heaven still. Once belivers are in heaven we will stand trial and our works will be tested. The rewards you recieve there will be based on what you have done and what you have been forgiven of, but if you are at this judgement you ARE in heaven, no questions. It's just a matter what rewards you deserve according to His will.

I hope that helps. Once you are saved, unless you rebel you will always be considered saved in His eyes. Ask Him to keep you from temptation in the walk you begin, it's the number 1 cause for downfall. There will be times of testing, when such times come ask for strength and His will to be shown and you will have victory.

1) Your sinners prayer is up to you, but you want to let God know that you believe Jesus died for your sins and you want to ask him to forgive your sins and ask him into your life. But you have to be sincere!
2)Baptism means that you are showing fellow church members that the new you is here. You don't have to be baptized, but is is a good idea! The sins of the past are washed away.
3)No! We are all sinners and fall short of Gods glory. You will find that once you are saved and study Gods word (THE BIBLE), your sinning nature will not be as prevalent as before you were saved. If you feel that you did wrong ask God for forgiveness and you will be forgiven!
4) Yes, because by doing #1 you have assured a place in heaven for yourself.

As for all the negative answers you will receive, please disregard them and do this for your yourself! Satan is strong and will always try to guide you in the opposite direction, so have faith and ask God to guide you!

1) What's in your heart is what matters most, not necessarily the words you say...pray with real intent, just saying a few words won't save you.

2) Ephesians 4:5 One faith, one Lord, one baptism.
John 3:5 Jesus answered saying, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Even Jesus was baptized and He was/is perfect. We are to follow Him and become like Him.

3) John 3:15 If ye love me keep my commandments.
Matt 5:19
4)if your heart is pure Jesus' atonement will be sufficient

first of all, i think that it's WONDEFUL!! that you want to be a Christian.

-first, when you ask for forgiveness, just let God know that you're sorry, ask for Him to forgive you, and then realize that God will NEVER hold that sin against you EVER!!!!

-Then, no. Baptism is just a symbolic thing that means that you WANT to show the world that you are a Christian and a follower of Christ. If you are never baptized, it DOES NOT mean that you will not enter Heaven.

- People break God's laws everyday && all the time, but still will go to Heaven. They just need to repent. That's WHY God sent JESUS to earth and that Jesus died; so that even though we do sin, we will be able to enter the Kingdom of God.

-yes, if you die before you repent to God, you will still go to heaven as long as you have actually become a true Christian. OUr God is a merciful God, and is justful in everything. He will always love you.

-Finally, i hope you will become a Christian and saved from sin. I will pray for you and i know you're ready. :D
You Are Loved!!!!

1. There is no special wording. The important thing is that your heart surrenders to Jesus, that in your heart you acknowledge that you are a sinner, that you need Him as your Saviour and that you are putting your trust in Him.
2. Baptism does not contribute to your salvation. You make that step out of gratitude to God for your salvation and in order to testify publicly of your faith.
3. Nobody on earth has followed the 10 commandments. Salvation is for sinners, not for righteous people.
4. Once you are born again you become a child of God. It does not depend on your confessing each and every sin individually. As a believer, the Holy Spirit will bring to mind certain sins which are preventing you from fully enjoying God's work in your life. He will show you those obstacles so that you can confess and forsake them. Not so you will become or so you will remain saved. It has nothing to do with that.

first off, you ARE, without a doubt, making the BEST decision you can ever make. another brother living eternity the way it should be.

1. keep it short and simple. something like, "God, I believe in you. I know I am a sinner. Thankyou for sending your son, Jesus, to die for my sins and make me right with you. Please come into my life. I give it to you. I want to live for you from now on."

2. No, that is merely a physical representation of having your sins washed away and becoming pure.

3. No. The only sin that is unforgivable is not believing in God or not putting your complete faith and trust in him.

4. as long as you have given your life to Jesus and have tried to be as Christian as you can, you're all good.

God bless you in your new life and see you in Heaven. If you have any more questions, feel free to email me.
