Oh, it's quite nice dear, it's Sunday, it's the church.

What about us atheists? Why should we 'ave to listen to that
sectarian turmoil?

I've read this on the internet that the Antichrist would be LOCATED in a city with 7 HILLS and this would be VATICAN_ROME! Because It is the only city in the world that have 7 HILLS and at the same time VATICAN_ROME is the seat of DUAL authorities of POLITICAL and SPIRITUAL power corresponding to the two horns of authorities of the ANTICHRIST. Is the Pope really the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Antichrist in the Bible? The Man of Sin; The 666?

I am a catholic and a Christian I am proud of my faith thats who I am! I believe in God, Jesus and I follow the Bible,

I have been coming here for over 4 months and I thought I would find information about religion but all I have found is backstabbing and running other peoples faith down. What has happened to society? people believe in their own faith and other people abuse them for what they believe in. That is wrong

Whether you are an Atheist or Christian I think that is your choice. No one has the right to judge a person because of what they believe in.

Also I find most of the decent honest questions get deleted and some people can ask very disgustiong questions and get away with it

Yahoo does nothing just deletes questions and don't answer emails

My question is, is this site really worth it, some people abuse you, say some very nasty and dirty things about Jesus and to be honest I find it offensive in a lot of ways? Do you?

May God bless you

And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying,’O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade that with it thou mayest blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.’ And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats and large chu—.... skiping a bit...

And the Lord spake, saying, ‘First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.’

shall we smite the believers!?

I have tried asking some apologists on another website and for some odd reason, they never answer my questions regarding the bible. I would like to dare any believers to answer WHY, if the bible is divinely inspried, why is it full of flaws and errors?
A few examples would be, the bible states the earth is flat, it states that insects have 4 legs, in Luke it states that the post resurecction appearance happened in Jersusalem when Matthew says that it happened in Galilee, 100 miles away.
Also, all 5 gospels give different descriptions and accounts of the death and ressurection of Jesus
I could give more examples but those are just a few.

How can you defend it and say it is divinely inspired when it is clearly flawed?

Do you even bother to try to learn anything while being here? Or do you come here simply to preach the gospels to people and try to convert them to your religion? Do you even care to learn about different religious beliefs? Now I know that not all Christians bother everybody. But I have noticed that certain Christians don't give a damn about anything else. Nor do they care to learn about anything else. So why do you come to this forum?

I asked this question earlier and accidentally put Jacob instead of Issac - Everyone focused on correcting me on that but the question was not answered so I will ask once more -

If Sarah tricked Abraham into giving the first born birth right to Issac instead of Ishmael who deserved the birth right because he was the first born by Hagar - Why would such deception be rewarded? It tells us that Sarah was jealous of Hagar and at one time sent her away. Then she tricked Abraham into giving to wrong child the birth right. If Abraham was not sick or blind - he would of gave the birth right to Ishmael And God still tells Ishmael he will have a strong nation. But the fact remains that Sarah was a lier and a deceiver. I am not Muslim it is just an interesting question and would like to see what people think.

For those who do not know - Mohamed comes from Ishmael and Jesus comes from Issac. Ishmael and Issac were the sons of Abraham.

Dear Sir,
Unless the divine powers has seized you up to be as 'Athensaious contra mundum', I see not how you can go through your glorious enterprise in opposing the inexorable villainy which is the scandal of religion in England, and of human nature. Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out by the opposition of men and devils. But if God be for you, who can be against you? Are all of them together stroroger than God? Oh be not weary of well doing! Go on in the name of God and in the power of His might till even American slavery (the vilest that has ever saw the sun) shall vanquish away before it.
Reading this morning a tract written by a poor African, I was particdularly struck by that circumstance that a man who has a black skin, being wronged or outraged by a white man can have no redress, being a 'law' in our colonies that the oath of a black man against a white man goes for nothing, what villainy is this?
That He who has guided you from youth up

Haven't really done anything to people. You may talk about how Christians have caused so much pain in the world, but so have atheists, muslim, Buddhists... It seems that Christianity is targeted at the most. is there a reason why? Just curious.

Is open mindedness required to truely understand Islam and to be a true Muslim?

I ask because as far as the the overall understanding of Islam goes, there are the Islamophobic people who are preaching basesless falsehoods about Islam on one end and hate-fueled murderous so-called Muslims on the other end. Both sides are working from an almost if not complete lack of understanding of Islam.
