I want to be able to pray for you. So please just mock me or support me whatever you want

For those people who say I should pray with out people mocking me here is my response. People have been mocking me all the time on these boards so I am doing what the Bible says and turning the other cheek. go on it's a free shot I'm prepared

Why on earth would I want to do that?
Seriously man I think you need to consider why you're doing this. Because if it's the mocking, I'm not entirely sure that's quite the best reason is it?
You want to pray, then pray away. I don't even mind you praying for me. I'm happy to take it in the spirit in which it was intended. Though my personal opinion is that you'd do better praying for yourself, for guidance. Just in case this approach isn't quite what your God had in mind.

Why must people mock you before you can pray for them? Why don't you just do it anyway?
What, are you a martyr or something? Taking it for the cause? Putting yourself on a pedestal because you're better than those who mock you? So you have a justification to pray for them like you're doing them a favor?
Get down from your high horse, pull your head out and get a clue.
If you really cared, you'd be praying without this nonsense.

Yes, I've asked on here before if someone would say something unkind, because the Bible says Blessed are the Persecuted and I felt like I wasn't getting enough. It made me proud to get all kinds of unkind words ( a few even called me a Fruitcake) but I got the chance to practice my religion and I know God was pleased.
Isn't it a shame that in this country Christians are denied real persecution and we have to settle for just mockery and unkind words? How can you be a practicing Christian like that?

I mock no man.
I am content within my own theology, and feel no motivation to "convert" anyone.
Ideally, a religion or theology should have the same spiritual effect as an opiate.
It should make you happy.
If you're not happy, there's something missing in your life, and it's not going to be satisfied by poking virtual sticks in other men's eyes here at Yahoo Answers....
