Okay so according to the Bible there is 33,750 sq. ft, if the ark was made as a cube (which it probably wasn't, but that's the biggest we can make it). Now the lowest estimate of species on earth is 1.5 million*, half of which are insects, so let's not count them, we're left with 2 x 750,000, so we're at 1.5 million animals on board. So 1.5 million divided by 33,750 equals 0.0225 sq ft. per animal. To put that into perspective that's a quarter of an inch squared per animal.

Can we move on with our lives now?

* the highest estimate was 50 million, and the average was 10 million, but only 1.5 million have been classified.

Please, be as detailed as you can.

I'm not a believer, I'm simply curious as to what people think it will be.

Thanks.

I personally think that religions(all of them) are way too close minded. I just don't get what's the big deal of Jesus having a family. I do believe in God but I don't like to just close myself to other theories or other ideas

"The Law is permanent for all future generations. You must add nothing to what I command you, nor subtract anything from it, but keep the commandments of Yahweh your God just as I lay them down for you." Numbers 15:15, Deuteronomy 4:2

What part of permanent did Jesus not understand?

In ancient times Jews offered animal sacrifices. Do they still do that today? If not, when did the practice stop, and why?

My arabian mare died at the age of 23 on January 23rd, 2007. Since then, the number surrounds me, and my life seems to be pretty much hell since it happened. It has been so hard, and I don't know that I believe in all this stuff, but I'm curious enough to ask. The movie 23 came out, and I catch 23 on clocks, timers, ANYTHING constantly......any light shed would be greatly appreciated, just to take into consideration. Thanks!

Forceing and seduceing people to play occult games or practice occult practices, thus enableing a spirit of Satan to enter that person and place them into bondage to witchcraft/Demonic forces. The mark of the Beast is then aquired by being forced to go threw a Trancendental Meditation Ceremony with the aid of witchcraft. When a Christian recieves the Holy Spirit it's called Baptised, when a soul receives the spirit of the Antichrist it's called Possesed

to those that know me, I checked the clone's site. I am sure she's planning on attacking tonight. Just ignore her. We ignored her before and she got a maximum of I think 6 answers to two questions combined. Ignore her again and she might go away.

Also, why does God make some people so sick like that? There is the Top Contributor thing now, so how sick can she be? Who does she think she is fooling?

My pastor (1st Baptist) shocked everyone in church Sunday by getting up behind the pulpit, before the hymns and everything and stated,
"I have grown to love every one of you over the years, but in a two-year re-evaluation of Christianity, I cannot preach to you in good conscience about something I no longer believe. Prepare yourselves, we are entering a new and exciting age of possibility. I have reviewed the evidence fairly and am forced to find another foundation for faith."

and then he said, "God bless you all!"

Needless to say, the church was in shock, the Pastor went home and moved his stuff out with a U-Haul and the Associate Pastor gave an off-the -cuff sermon in his stead!

My dad (a Deacon) talked with Dr. Jenkins and came home saying that Dr. Jenkins had been involved with a Christian debating team, and the outcome of 2yrs of heavy research has proven that Christianity is indefensible as a means of faith!

He's going to go to Medical School!

I found out about an hour ago that my aunt died yesterday from breast cancer. Right now, I'm at the numb stage of my grief. The way I grieve is that I'm numb for a few days, so I don't really show any sign of grieving. By about a week after, I snap and start crying, then get angry, and then get over it. Why is cancer even around? Why does God give some people cancer and not others? Why do good people get it, but bad people live to an old age? This is the 5th death within the last two years of a loved one.

It is declared in the Bible that Jesus said,"“I tell you the truth, among those born of women, no one has arisen greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he is."

If we are to believe the words of Jesus then those who most see as great are no greater that John the Baptist for all were born of women. Even Jesus himself was born or a woman. and while on this earth he was not yet in the kingdom of heaven. He spoke of his kingdom but that was to come after his death on the pole, tree, or cross and then his resurrection.
