Yes, I am an ex-Wiccan. After I found out Wicca was a hoax created by Gerald Gardner in the 1950's, I tried other forms of occultism. Years down the road, I had the ephinany that nobody was able to make the occult "work". http://usminc.org/famous
I get emails from Wiccans from time to time saying they've thrown a curse on me. That's been going on for a while now. I'm doing better than ever.
Now here's another story of a Wiccan using "scare tactics"...
During the Halloween season of 2002, the Ft Mead, Florida library had some harmelss decorations, a couple of which included the traditional idea of what a witch looked like, etc..
Well, a couple of Wiccans got their noses out of joint over this, and proceeded to protest to one of the librarians. It seems they wanted the decorations to be taken down, and immediately I might add! The librarian refused. Well, the great sorcerer told the librarian, "If you don't take these decorations down, I'll put a curse on you and make you do it!" Hoo hoo, boy! Well, it was out there. Do it or else...zap! The librarian, who was one of those "Christians"folks Wiccans don't have much use for calmly told the man to give it his best shot, because she had Jesus and had nothing to fear. No doubt Polk County Florida's answer to Merlin gave it his best shot after he stormed out of the library. Did she turn into a frog, have her will bent to remove the decorations, or at least beg him to remove the spell? Nope. Not only did the library have its decorations up until Halloween, but they even stayed up a few days in November on purpose! And the librarians experienced no ill effects at all. Even during the three back to back hurricanes a few years later, their houses suffered no damage.
I know, some Wiccans out there will say, "Well, that so-called Wiccan acted like a jerk and so that's why his spell didn't work! He was trying to practice black magic!" But the thing is, isn't black magic supposed to work too??? If black magic doesn't work, all the supposedly "white" Wiccans wouldn't be so obsessed with "protection" magic. That’s what all those pentagrams you see them running around with are supposed to be for (well, that and to advertise the fact that they’re Wiccans). Aren't all you sorcerers out there supposed to have more power than us measly Christians? If not, maybe you better rethink this whole thing!
Another area of scare tactic can be found in the Gardnerian "Book of Shadows" under the section "Old Laws" Section C-50 which reads:
"And if any break these laws, even under torture, The Curse of the Goddess shall be upon them, so they never reborn on earth, And may they remain where they belong, in the Hell of the Christians."
Yes, Wiccans threaten people with HELL! MUAHAHAHA!
And in some of the older traditions like Alexandrian, the candidates are initiated at sword point, and told if they ever betray the coven it would be better if the sword was shoved through them. Certainly that would be intimidating!

I know quite a bit about Wicca actually as I am a former Wiccan who is now an agnostic. There is nothing evil about Wicca and a Wiccan does not intimidate people - they live by the Rede which is Do What Ye Will But Harm None. Not all Wiccans practice the Craft, some do and some don't.
You seem to have the general preconceived notion that most have about pagans in society. Try actually talking to a few Wiccans - a little education goes a long way.

The only ones I know that claim to cast spells are some teenagers that think that is what Wicca is all about. They think it is casting spells and controlling people. When they find out it's a path of enlightenment that requires lots of introspective hard work on the Self to become a better person, and it's not all hocus pocus and Hollywood stuff, they usually drift off.
Following the Wiccan Way is one of peace and personal growth, which sometimes can be emotionally painful as you realize what a jerk you have been in your life. It's not unlike being Buddhist or practicing Native American Shamanism in this manner. In fact, if I was to describe what Wicca is in the simplist terms I'd say it is a mix of Buddhism and Shamanism.
It's definitely not evil... in fact the farthest from it you could get.

I am a witch, not Wiccan. These people who say they were Wiccan and left it because it was evil were just pretenders to begin with. And JT. I know a lot of witches and well all also follow the Wiccan Rede and the witches laws. We do not cast evil spells. These pretenders probably tried to cast spells with no knowledge or mis-information and it didn't turn out as they would have liked. Many Fluffy Bunnies fall into this category. The only people I know that try to use fear tactics are Christians with their threats of hell, damnation and Satan. Which, as a witch I will tell you that they do not exist. They are a Christian fabrication to try to control peoples minds, and they are doing a pretty good job of it!

Lol, no... all the former Wiccans I know never say that Wicca is an evil religion, quite the opposite! If anything they say it's too "light and goodness". About the only thing I've ever heard someone who used to be a real practicing Wiccan in the past say negative about the religion is that it is too eclectic or too white-lighter.
I have one friend (in real life) who used to be a Wiccan and is now Asatru. I have never known of a Wiccan to convert to Christianity if that's what you are getting at.

Actually I've never met a former Wiccan who converted because they thought Wicca was evil. On th contrary, Wicca is a peaceful, non-violent religion. Their basic creed does not allow them to cast spells on other people. "An it harm none, do what thou wilt." The *Harm None* part isn't optional. And I've never heard of Wiccan's using fear tactics to intimidate people. Where are you getting your info? Because you're way off track here...

You wrote: "My info is an email I got from a wiccan, she theatened me and said she reported my to yahoo. All I did was give an honest answer to her question, guess she didnt want an honest answer."
So... you judge an entire religion based on one person's reaction?
Wow. Way to give your brain a rest.
Our religion is not evil, in spite of the occasional hothead within it. And frankly, I'm not even sure how much of a "hothead" your emailer was -- it sounds like you were probably primed to react badly already, even if he/she sent you a relatively polite email stating that they disagreed with you.
I advise you to get rid of your prejudice and actually READ the responses already given to your question. Are you willing to learn based on testimony and evidence? If not... *shrug*

From everything that I have read about it as well as the people I know who are currently and formerly Wiccans their crede states, "Do as ye will, but harm none" IE; you are not allowed to hurt anyone in anyway. That would include using scare tactics. So, if you know/knew of someone who was doing that then be assured that Karma or the law of three will make it even

My son has an unusual collection of friends and they all like to hang around here in the summer. Hubby does a lot of PC stuff with them. Anyway, one boy says he is Wicca I even attended his wedding last summer, a Wicca ceremony. They seemed to be more like nature lovers than spell casters. I visit with him a lot about Creation, it's a positive experience for both of us.

You are describing witches there. I've read up on Wiccans, they will NOT cast a spell on anyone without that person's consent! In fact, I used to wanna be a Wiccan, but I'm over that phase now.
