From responses tp other questions I've read most people say they want to see their relatives and that is the end of their answers. But when most people are alive they try everything in their power to get away from their relatives. Then all of sudden when they die they get the notion they want to spend eternity with them. If heaven is only a family reunion, the buffet better be excellent.

There is a verse in the Quran [2 : 178] that says:

"O ye who believe! The law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman"

Most Muslim scholars interpret the above verse saying that a woman SHOULD be kileld for killing a woman (or a man) while a man CANNOT be killed for killing a woman. This is why in Saudi Arabiya the mount of money set to free a killer when killing a woman is HALF that if the victim was a man.

Is theer any reason for changing the punishment on basis of the SEX of the victim?

How can I concentrate more when praying and not think about other things. Also when I pray I use about 6 chapters from the Quran to recite. Is it okay if I use these select few all the time until I learn more.

I have a lot of questions and i am clue less I go 2 church once in a while but i do believe jesus died for us and everything. But its just hard i need advice 2 help me understand I use 2 be catholic my family turned christian over some family problems we had and didn't find any answer no where else so we turned 2 God. My brother was in a Christian rehab for drug addicts for 3 months god helped him and he is a believer but since he came back he has gone back even though he knows its wrong but stil believes. He siad he is saved and knows all the tricks 2 save him and that he will be alright that nothing can happen to him 2 just pray 4 him. We don't really talk 2much i don't know why since he came back and went into the drugss again he has been like this but he has a lot of knowledge on Christians because he was in the rehab.On the other hand I really don't know much about this. What did he mean about the Christian tricks and how do you connect with god i need info any christians help?

Someone asked a question "Jehovahs Witnesses,Where does the Bible teach that Christians met in a place called a 'Kingdom Hall'?" He only wanted a scripture or just an admission that it wasn't in the bible. What a sly way to try to make someone look bad. When I explained it to him, he did not accept my answer and repeated to me the only two possible answers he wanted to hear, one of which he knew to be incorrect. So, in the spirit of what he considers a fair question and in line with his thinking, here are my questions; Where in the bible does it say Christ's followers should be called Baptists or Methodists or Catholics? Where in the bible does it say you can drink Coke, Sprite, or Dr. Pepper? Where in the bible does it say you can drive an automobile? Give me chapter and verse or just say "It isn't in the bible, Anomaly."

Why do people say Islam is degrading to women, when the Prophet Muhammed himself said the following (true authentic quotes):

“Admonish your wives with kindness.”

“A Muslim must not hate his wife; and if he be displeased with one bad quality in her, then let him be pleased with another that is good.”

“Do you beat your own wife as you would a slave? That must you not do.”

“He is the most perfect Muslim whose disposition is best; and the best of you are they who behave best to their wives.”

“A virtuous wife is a man's best treasure.”

“God enjoins you to treat women well, for they are your mothers, daughters, aunts.”


So please dont say Islam is degrading. A few might be, but every culture has its people who don't follow the rules

I made a list of Christian websites that deal with "evidences" for Christianity (Apologetics). I had all the reccommended and best of the best ones listed (Which I study intensely)...

and someone on a religious forum gave me a list of all the best Atheist websites and challenged me to compare and contrast.

I thought (of course) that it would be no problem - I mean, the Bible is true, right?

That's what I thought, too!

I spent countless hours, digging through the information and checking resources and credibility of the sources, etc...

The Atheists had an answer for every point! They were familiar with all the apologists and all the defenses! Now, it's one thing to disprove Christian claims, but when it is done so thoroughly that I had to re-evaluate the soundness of my very very precious faith, I am left with no rationale to believe.

My friends, God Himself cannot blame me for using my brain! What is one supposed to do? Stay the course?

I tell you it is impossible!

Shouldn't he be apologizing to us, He could have created a slightly better planet. I mean he could have made us better, I mean He IS perfect, why is this world such crap? Screw it. New question. Why is it that only Christian groups such as Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons and Baptists knock on my door trying to save me on a Saturday or a Sunday afternoon? Why don't Buddhists or Muslims come knocking on my door? Just curious... Are fundies so weak in their beliefs that they must try and recruit others to stregthen their beliefs? Just curious.

The incident where the Buddha statues that were blown by theTaliban raise a lot of critic's from around the world,the UN even condemned this act as immoral.

But why does the UN doesn't condemned the way that the Israelities digging around the Al-Aqsa mosque searching for artifact's to prove that the Temple of Solomon was around that site.If you seen the Mosque,you will see that the Israelites were more like demolishing the Mosque rather than finding artifact.Jew's should respect the heritage because it is not the Muslim's who destroyed their Temple of Solomon,it is the Romans!
And they also forget that the Arab's are the one who protect them during the Crusade.The way the world are telling people today as if it is the Muslim's who are the one who destroyed the Temple of Solomon!!!!!!!
