I have a lot of questions and i am clue less I go 2 church once in a while but i do believe jesus died for us and everything. But its just hard i need advice 2 help me understand I use 2 be catholic my family turned christian over some family problems we had and didn't find any answer no where else so we turned 2 God. My brother was in a Christian rehab for drug addicts for 3 months god helped him and he is a believer but since he came back he has gone back even though he knows its wrong but stil believes. He siad he is saved and knows all the tricks 2 save him and that he will be alright that nothing can happen to him 2 just pray 4 him. We don't really talk 2much i don't know why since he came back and went into the drugss again he has been like this but he has a lot of knowledge on Christians because he was in the rehab.On the other hand I really don't know much about this. What did he mean about the Christian tricks and how do you connect with god i need info any christians help?

I'm not too sure if any of us here can tell you what "the tricks" of Christianity are, really. It might have just been his way of putting things across to you; that's all.
While, like in all other Religions, Christianity has it's share of contradictions and errata, the crux of the Faith is in the Love and Sacrifice of Jesus who gave Himself up for all of us.
There is a song by Charles Landsborough called "My Forever Friend" that I'd strongly reccommend your listening to. It's's my favorite song, by the way.
You'll proably be touch by Him when you've heard it and all will reveal itself to you!

This is pretty serious, on all levels and not just spiritual too. Christianity is not supposed to be privileged information - there ought not be any "tricks" or "secrets" about getting into Heaven, so let me make this clear:
Sincerely acknowledge that Jesus as your Savior, that God is the only one, true God and follow the Bible's teachings, and you're good. There's more to this, but what I've outlined is the basic key to embarking on the Christian road. Talk to a pastor (but make sure he/she isn't an alternative/non-traditional Christian!) about this.
Get a copy of the Holy Bible, most importantly the New Testament and read it. There ought to be a plain-English, International version to be found at any Christian bookstore.
Start going to church regularly (i.e., weekly on Sundays and such) and talk to your fellow churchgoers. Christianity is all about helping each other out.
And finally, pray to God every night that He may help you.

Do you remember when , in Scripture Jesus talks about a house that is swept clean and then the spirit goes out and gets some friends and comes back because the house is empty so it ends up that the place is worse than it was at the beginning? You need to go back to the Catholic Church. Tell your brother as well, because after the house (your soul) is swept clean again and put in order you need to have Jesus in it or you will be too weak to fight off the infestation again. He is present in the Holy Eucharist.

I think your brother is using "tricks" to convince himself that he is saved. One of those tricks is to think that actions don't matter as long as you believe. They do matter. God/Jesus said that all men will face judgement (including those that believed. The Bible also stays that "faith without works is dead". I would suggest that perhaps your brother never really got saved but was emotionally caught up in the "religion thing" due to his circumstances at the time. Real Christians do not backslide totally. We do sin occasionally because we are human but we never go back to the way we were before coming to Christ.
Talk to God. Pray using your own words, then be silent and listen. In due time he will answer. I will also pray that you will be heard. God Bless.

they're aren't any tricks to get you into Heaven. The only way there is to believe in Jesus as your personal savior, that He died and rose again. I suggest get into a good bible study, a church that is spirit filled. When you find a good church family you'll know it because the minute you walk in you'll be wrapped in their love. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and pray for his guidance. God bless

There are no tricks. JESUS CHRIST came into the world to save sinners. All you have to do to appropriate the benefits is to say yes to JESUS in your heart. I mean GOD just wants his kids back. The only way for that to happen is to just say, "JESUS save me I want you and need you" .... its that simple. Once you do that the SPIRIT of GOD will dwell with in you and will himself guide you into what is right and what is wrong. Your brother is confused. Somewhere, deep inside, he knows it, that is why he asked you to pray for him. There are no tricks that Christians use. It is impossible to trick or fool God. God know the true heart of all. He is a slave to the drugs, because it controls him. Let your brother know that God knows his heart and that he can't just say I am sorry and ask for forgiveness and not really have any intentions of really trying to stop. Let him know that he can not trick God about anything! Remind him of this!!! It might sound scary or mean, but it is necessary! Satan likes to tell people lies and get them to fall away when they are vulnerable. Inside, your brother asked you to pray for him because he knows it deep down. Help him with his faith, pray to God to strengthen you and also your brother. Ask God to help him and tell your brother to reach out to God and ask for help and tell him to pray to God and say that he can not control it and needs help. He must admit it and ask for help, BUT, he must really mean it!

If you believe, start praying for yourself. Don't listen to what other people tell you to believe. Read Gods word and he will guide you. Look for a church that you feel comfortable with, and people who don't judge.
I don't know about any tricks to get away with knowfull wrongdoing.

He thinks because he got saved he can be a jerk and then just ask for forgiveness. If he repents and means it in his heart yea he would be forgiven. But right now it just sounds like he is being a jerk. I hope nothing happens to him while he is in the middle of playing games....

Jesus wil, not be found in a religion.... he is a reality. tell Him you love Hom,for what He wants is your LOVE. Latch on to Him and never let Him go,for He is LIFE. Don't get hung up on your faults,Jesus is not interested in your faults,only your faith.Just belive Him and let Him take care of the rest,and He will. This earth age is for 1 reason oly.whether you will love God or satan and the world. Just love Hiom i pray. Flesh is meaningless,He wants you to tell Him in prayer ,Father I LOVE YOU wish I could have done better,but help me father .Tell Him you love Him don't get hung up on deniominational belifs.
