Someone asked a question "Jehovahs Witnesses,Where does the Bible teach that Christians met in a place called a 'Kingdom Hall'?" He only wanted a scripture or just an admission that it wasn't in the bible. What a sly way to try to make someone look bad. When I explained it to him, he did not accept my answer and repeated to me the only two possible answers he wanted to hear, one of which he knew to be incorrect. So, in the spirit of what he considers a fair question and in line with his thinking, here are my questions; Where in the bible does it say Christ's followers should be called Baptists or Methodists or Catholics? Where in the bible does it say you can drink Coke, Sprite, or Dr. Pepper? Where in the bible does it say you can drive an automobile? Give me chapter and verse or just say "It isn't in the bible, Anomaly."

Remember, folks, I'm only following the format of another question asker! You can only give me a bible chapter and scripture or tell me "It's not in the bible, Anomaly". No other answers will be accepted!

Or...

The questions might be rhetorical to prove a point! Does anyone get my point?

Jehovah's Witnesses consider the Bible to be the only infallible inspired means of determining God's will and purposes. Jehovah's Witnesses consider the Holy Scriptures as the final word in all matters of worship, and actually encourage their adherents to elevate the bible over the human traditions which pass as worship for too many humans.

(Matthew 15:3,9) [Jesus] said to them: “Why is it you also overstep the commandment of God because of your tradition? ...It is in vain that they keep worshiping [God], because they teach commands of men as doctrines.

(Mark 7:8) Letting go the commandment of God, you hold fast the tradition of men.

(Colossians 2:8) Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry you off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ

Perhaps argumentative anti-Witnesses ignore the fact that the practicalities of Christian life sometimes require decisions which are not directly related to "worship".

actual, you could replace your wording in simple terms rather: Hebrew Bible Roman Catholic Bible Protestant Bible The Jewish scholars complete the version of the Hebrew Bible in relating to the third century. That text fabric is secure in the two the RC and Prot. Bible. The order of the books is diverse, because of the fact of underlying assumptions. The Christian Bible (the hot testomony) wasn't particularly nailed down till almost the 10th century or so. After that, it replaced into locked in. This replaced into achieved in a chain of Church Councils. this text is an identical in the two the RC and Prot. Bible, and the previous testomony is enormously plenty a similar in the two of those Bibles, different than that the order may well be slightly diverse. the only distinction between the RC and Prot. Bibles is the presence of the Apocrypha -- numerous books that have been unknown in Hebrew, yet have been secure immediately in Greek language translations of the previous testomony that have been in ordinary use around the time of the early Church. That Greek translation of the previous testomony (called the Septuagint) replaced into particularly ordinary (maximum Jews did no longer at that element undergo in concepts a thank you to talk or study Hebrew anymore) that whenever you stumble on the previous testomony quoted interior the hot testomony, it is often the Septuagint text fabric they're quoting.

Nowhere. Definition of "hall": a large room or building for public gatherings; auditorium.

The prime message of Jehovah's Witnesses is reflected in their principle publication: The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom.

Jehovah's Kingdom is a government by which Jehovah through his Son, Jesus, will clear this earth of wickedness.

So put the 2 words together. A Kingdom Hall is a large room where God's Kingdom is discussed.

Here are my answers to your doubt as a Christian by faith:
No kingdom hall in the bible
Baptist religion is not on the bible. Baptist means the one who baptize, like John, the Baptist

Methodist not on the bible, founded by a false Pastor
Catholics not on the bible. religion of the Romans who are formerly Pagans
Church of God - written on the bible many times and the founder is Jesus Christ. Read the New Testament
Your question about drinking soft drinks, driving automobile is a nonsense question. God will not say on the bible to drink this and that and do this and that. Drinking and doing something good for man is an instinct to man. God tells you on his prohibitions only what not to drink, not to eat and not to do but it is up for you to select. for the good or for the bad.

"And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as YOU behold the day drawing near." - Hebrews 10:24,25
Paul said that we have to gather. There's no better place to do that than at the Kingdom Hall.
Good point brother.
Keep up the good work!

Actually none of that is in this Bible. There are reasons for the church denominations, but the Bible calls un believers, not Catholic, Bapiist or Methodist

I just thought you might find this interesting :)

Jehovah;s Witnesses are actually mentioned in the Bible. :)

(Isaiah 43:10) “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none.

Hello! I can understand your question. As for the Jehovah's Witnesses, I believe they are in a bad spiritual error and hence in heretical. Any group who alters who Jesus was and is... is cultic and not of God. That's why the gospel of John was written. Denominational titles are not what God had in mind for the church, but due to sin and errors such have been instituted down through the years (especially like Constantine with the Roman Catholic Church). We are called to be Christians, those who are set apart unto God to serve and worship Him. Sadly some worship at their denomination's altar as if it were powered of itself and not Christ. Jesus primary desire for His Church, which He bought with His own blood, is for us to be ONE and to love one another. That is the ideal, but in a fallen world it works out differently. God's spirit can lead us into truth concerning these other issues, IF we are willing to listen. Many claim to believe in the bible, yet should a person speak in tongues or give a prophetic word they would be asked to leave. Paul spoke in tongues more than all, so I wonder how they'd take Paul? So no, there are no scripture and verse to show forth concerning it... but I believe God can and does lead people to do things. One day the Church of God (and that's not the denomination I mean) will arise to fulfill her calling in the earth. Hope this helps... okay?

Look bro, you are funny! But remember that scripture and keep it mental,

Jesus said at Matthew 7:6 "Do not throw pearls before swine"

Remember that! Don't waste your time with unreasonable people.
