Pretty simple question....why?
Shouldn't he be apologizing to us, He could have created a slightly better planet. I mean he could have made us better, I mean He IS perfect, why is this world such crap? Screw it. New question. Why don't we ask God for forgiveness, what have I done to affect God's life? Nothing, how could I make an all loving being sad, or upset, let alone angry. Oh He gets angry too, just ask the Egyptians.

"Grow up. He does not need us to ask for forgiveness. People need to do it so that they can forgive themselves. God is not immature and greedy."
What about Job, did Job get at least a "my bad" when he got to heaven?

"God created us and we have the right to follow him and lead quality lives under his care, or abandon our Father and search for solace among empty, secular pleasures that can't satisfy us forever. Just like your child can drop out of school and curse his parents and try to live his own life before he knows how to decide on his own what is right and wrong and he ends up either being homeless or in jail. And God represents the parents who never gave up the kid who will always take him back if he just asks them to."
I love horrible analogies. First I, as many before me have moved away from my parents, and live independantly just fine. And if my parents killed many of their children before me, were sexist, racist and homophobic like your God, I'd be better of homeless.

Admitting our mistakes is a healthy way of adding humility to our personality. Humility is the cousin of harmony.
Harmony is harmony; disharmony is the only sin against God. I am suspicious of any Bible verse that does not advocate harmony.

some pretty bold and naive statements there. First off, God doesn't make us ask for forgiveness, he allows us to. I'm sure you'll here this often, but he did not make the world what it is. The world's beauty has been reduced to what is left of the untouched land and environments in the world. God made humans and permitted them to act upon their own wishes and make their own decisions which is the greatest right to be given to a being. Humans limit those abilities with modern laws and social expectations, so God has nothing to do with what humans have done and become. However, we have every ability and right to fix it. If had a child, and you saw him steal from your coat pocket or something, you would surely be disappointed in him, would you not? You won't have any trouble going to work or carrying on with daily activities, but you would want him to be remorseful and realize his wrongness in stealing. It's very much like children; God created us and we have the right to follow him and lead quality lives under his care, or abandon our Father and search for solace among empty, secular pleasures that can't satisfy us forever. Just like your child can drop out of school and curse his parents and try to live his own life before he knows how to decide on his own what is right and wrong and he ends up either being homeless or in jail. And God represents the parents who never gave up the kid who will always take him back if he just asks them to.

God did make us perfect. But he also gave us the gift of choice. We (well, most of us) can decide what we're going to do, rather than going by our instincts. And since we're human and not God, it's impossible for us to do everything exactly how God does it. And God would no longer be perfect if he didn't punish us for doing things wrong. Not to mention that many people (metaphorically) spit in God's face and do the wrong thing on purpose. No one wants to stick to the rules every second of every day. We want to try something new. Something different. We can always find something wrong with the rules. So we disobey. We can't be God. Therefore, we can't be perfect. And as our Father, God must make sure we are punished for our sins. That is why we ask for forgiveness. Also, it's simply because we love God and want to please Him, but things don't always turn out as well as they should. It's just like apologizing to a friend for a misunderstanding; you want to make amends.
But God sent Jesus to take the blame for us. We no longer have to worry about being punished for all our sins. Every time we ask for forgiveness, we're admitting again that Jesus died for us, and we know that we no longer have to worry about punishment. Jesus takes all our sins away. We ask for forgiveness so that Jesus will take our sins, and God will no longer have to punish us.
I know that was kind of a rambling explanation, but I hope it helped a bit. :)

God created us with a free will. Using that free will that we were given we are the ones that made the world what it is - a world that is slowly being destroyed by over-mining of metals and minerals because we feel that we NEED them; the seas are being poluted because WE think we need certain things; the rainforrests are greatly diminished to keep up with what we think we need and without the rainforrests everything gets out of whack - there isn't enough rainforrests to keep up with the rate of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
God made the world so we would have everything we needed to survive. He wanted us to come to Him of our own free will. But instead, we are using our free will not to protect the gift God gave us but to let the earth decay worse. But all in all, God loves us as his children.

He owes you and I nothing. As sinners, we are worthy only of death. But out of His Love, He made a way and took our place so that we should not have to experience death, but life forevermore. His Creation is nothing less than perfect. It's mankind that because of sin, we have messed it all up. He fixes our mess ups!
If you would finally receive Him as Lord and start living your life in a pleasing manner, you wouldn't have to keep asking for forgiveness all the time as you would stop sinning all the time. By the way, He DOES NOT NEED YOU OR I, WE NEED HIM. Get it straight and quit being arrogant, prideful, rebellous, and rude to GOD while it's not yet too late. After all, that next breath of air your about to breathe, IT BELONGS TO HIM, NOT YOU. He was kind enough to let you use it. You better wise up my friend! PEACE!!!

Sin separates us from God. When I sin, I can feel it. It's like a wall goes up. I love Him so much and desire close communcation and relationship with Him, so I ask forgiveness. He always forgives, of course.
I understand that you don't know why all this is. If you would take some time and read the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John....I think it would illuminate this relationship with God..and sin....more.

God's creation was perfect when he created it. The reason why the world is as it is today is because of man's sin or disobedience towards God. When sin entered the world so did death and everything evil. God will once again make the world perfect with the return of his son, Jesus Christ, and those who do not receive Christ as their savior will not dwell in this perfect world but be thrown into the fire with the devil and his angels. Even though we are sinners God loves us and deeply desire for us to know him. That is why he came to earth as Jesus Christ so he could die for our sins to bring us back to him. When we receive Jesus as our savior all our sins are forgiven and we have fellowship with God. When we do this we ask for forgiveness of our sins, forsake them, and accept what Jesus did for us by faith. As much as you may not like it God is right and we are wrong. God loves you and you do make him sad when you do not receive his gift of forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus Christ because he literally died for you, and God does get angry, he is holy and he hates sin and cannot tolerate it. However his mercy triumphs over his wrath and Jesus Christ is the proof of this. Please humble yourself before God and ask Christ into your life as your Lord and savior.

in simple terms because of the fact Jesus died for our sins does no longer advise that we are able to pass out and proceed to f*ck up at will. Jesus' forgiveness isn't an automated Get-Out-of-reformatory-loose card that we could us thieve and rape and homicide and randomly fornicate and lie and whatnot because of the fact we expect of that we've "automated forgiveness" no remember what. Jesus left us together with his coaching and advised us to maintain on with the guidelines (i.e the Commandments and Golden Rule). Then he died for our sins and stated that we've been forgiven as quickly as. whilst Jesus stated that he could return, it wasn't a grand promise, it replaced right into a warning. study the e book of Revelation. It says that if we don't shop on with Jesus' teachings, whilst he comes lower back lower back, we are f*cked.

We were created perfect and with a free will to fellowship with God. Sin separated us from God, but through Jesus, that separation can be bridged.
And yes...God is perfect and deserves all the honor and glory.

His Grace, we are allowed to keep asking for forgiveness until we no longer need to. His Mercy will save us from the fate of His Wrath.
