I heard a discussion today between two people. The one person said they believed that whatever they did would always come back to they. The other person said they didn't believe in it. The Karma believer said that good things happen to good people and that bad things happen to bad people, etc. The Karma skeptic said given that logic that it would mean that if a person has something bad happen to them (i.e. disease, loss) then they must be bad. And they pointed out that incredibly evil people are often beset by good fortune.
This they claimed invalidated the "karma" theory. What do you think?

I mean like whatever you give up for Lent is right there in front of you dancing with glorious light all around it blazing saying "Yoohoo, here I am". The cravings increase ten fold huh?

I'm not trying to say that atheists are completely hedonistic, however I dont' see many of them speak of the benefits of self-denial.

This world is going to HELL because you chosen ones have done everything to build and support one another and each other IN YOUR RELIGION. But you are not qualified to make the decisions FOR THE W0RLD! Your religion is not MY belief and therefore I do not believe you are SPECIAL, Privliged, SAVED, or any of the other words your pals in your circle use to INSPIRE YOU to be CONTROLLED! YES I am free to choose and I choose to tell you that YOU ARE NOT FREE! YOU ARE of an order! A religious one! You find support in your friendships that you have chosen because you were subjected to the same views as were they! What made your Bible right? Did God say "hey there lucky, aren't you glad I chose YOU, and not the other religious people that want to know me too but did not open up the TRUE book that only YOU were Privvy too, because I Love YOU? And when the judgement day comes and you are holding the wrong book in your hand WHAT WILL BE YOUR EXCUSE? "My friends told me so"! Good LUCK!

However, what has specifically happened to you that makes you such a proud believer. I mean over 50% of so called christians dont pray everyday when they remember....Never have felt the spirit of GOD.....But yet they call themselves "CHRISTIANS" because their parents were so called believers in CHRIST.
