if the left hemisphere and right hemisphere do not co-ordinate, then the body and mind are messed up. Besides, two heads aren't always better than one. A double minded person is a mess. (divided house cannot stand, take your pick)
you mean with a pair, or being hermaphrodites? a pair would be a general hinderance. Large multi-cellular organisms usually aren't hermaphrodotic. Besides, usually only have the species survives with hermaphrodites, as they both want to play the male. notice how the hermaphrodites we know of don't have brains....
plus, if we were hermaphrodites, we wouldn't survive. a mother in her fully pregnant state usually has a hard time getting around: two mothers, big problem, as they can't be helped or protected (animal nature).
I think we were designed very well, thank you very much...

Do we need 2 sex organs or brains? Alot of people in this world cannot safely use one sex organ, let alone two.

Well..in essence we have two brains..they are just connected. Our brain can be split and it will still work as two independent halves. And as for the sex organs...no idea...but it would have been nice.

As Robin Williams says, God gave man a penis and a brain and only enough blood to run one of them at once.

It we pointless to have two brains when most people don't use the one they have. Most especially men make use of the other as if they had ten of them.

OMG! I have two hearts? Two stomachs? Two livers? Two pancreases? Two windpipes? Two heads? Two diaphragms? I think someone needs to head back to basic health class.

not true - we only have one heart, one pancreas, one mouth, one stomach, etc. i could go on forever. also not true since we do have one brain, but women have two ovaries (sex organs) and men have two testicles (sex organs)
your reasoning is flawed.

well, if you study it carefully, you'll find that brain actually consists of 2 sides, and so do the sexual organs.
