Naw, that means you can't drive a stick-shift, have a crap car, are a danger to other drivers following, etc..

You can thank god that it wasn't you who hit that pedestrian.
But even if your car had not stalled, I somehow believe you would have seen the pedestrian and stopped in time. Your life was not spared in lieu of another's.

No, I wouldn't think God for that. I would be happy, but the horror of that moment. I will never forget if it did happen.

No, but I would assume it happened for a reason -
for instance, because something was wrong with my car!
