Christians are not compelled to do anything except to believe that Jesus died for the sin of mankind. Rest, its their life. They believe they are made free from any law or commandments.

I'm a saved Christian. I pray every night, try to do right by myself and God and I go to church every Sunday... No I'm not a hypocrite that goes to church on Sunday then curses someone out right after the service. I would call myself a proud believer because I have felt the spirit of God and I know that I am going to heaven if I should die right now.

Being "Christian" is not what you call yourself. Although my name here is "Christian boy", that's not what makes me who I am at all. Nor does it for anybody that calls themselves "CHRISTIANS". You can call yourself anything else you want, that don't mean that when you stand before Almighty God that He will call you that. Whether or not you are a Christian depends on what others say about you. In other words, does others see you as somebody who acts like Jesus Christ or not. If not, the choice is yours as to whether to change that or not.
People do some sick things and still say that they are "Christians". All that does is make them out as liars. You judge, are we doing the word of just hearing it. The Bible says that if you are a hearer only that you are deceiving yourself. Read, James 1:22,23 and ask yourself this question "which am I?".

Yes I am a Christian but the proof was only for me. I was fortunate enough to receive healing before a Big Surgery was Scheduled. What was weird is that I remember having NO FAITH in that prayer Whatsoever and was Annoyed By It because I was in pain. So I can't explain faith and healing. I just know it's been 10 years and it never came back.
Secondly, I saw something and I'm not crazy. It was not heaven or some big thing like that, but it jarred me and I am still incredulous about being lucky enough to see that. Especially humbled also because the Bible says that blessed is he who has NOT seen and yet Believes!!
If I miss Heaven or God, there is no one else to hang it on in my case. It would be sheer stupidity. Good question. Thanks for reading this. I don't talk about it.

Well salvation is a work of the holy spirit working a person, so anyone who says they are a Christian but have not felt the spirit of God in them are either mistaken, wrong, or just arn't really Christians. It was the work of the Holy Spirit that showed me my sin for what it is and my need for Christ. I have repented and put my faith in Christ as a result, that is what qualifies me as a Christian, not that my parents are were Christians or that I said a prayer. It is repentance and faith.

I'm not a Christian, but I do pray everyday (perhaps mostly out of habit from when I was a Christian), and I have seen and felt the spirit of God. I am a Deist. God can be seen and felt in his genuine creations. God is within you, and is all around you.

Romans 10:17 "Faith commeth by hearing , hearing by the word of God ". John 3:3 "Verily, verily, I say unto thee,Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". 1 John 2:4 "He that saith,I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him". Just because your parents are so-called Christians ,Does Not mean you are! If you don't walk the walk , you can't talk the talk.

Oh, I know...I am a Christian and it is NOT because my parents are-- that just helps me to stay focused on pleasing God because I can look at their example. Christians really need to have their OWN personal relationship with Jesus Christ-- speaking from experience, i can tell you that it is the most life-changing, wonderful thing you can EVER, EVER do!! but ya know what? instead of saying, "oh they're not christians because they don't pray" WE should pray for THEM! :) who knows? God may use our praying for them to really make them realy followers of Christ:)

This isn't a question
I'm not a proud believer, I'm a believer.
Where do you get your statistics from ? probably 99%of the Christians I know have felt and live daily with the Spirit of God. He dwells in us.
