If you are a man . . your wife (or daughter) is in an accident. You are told by the doctor she is pregnant. She will not survive childbirth for some medical reason. You are asked to make the decision because your wife (or daughter) is not conscious to make the decision and one is necessary.

The system seems wildly unfair. Personally, I think violations should be only used to prevent advertisement/spam. Maybe they could just let users tag Q/A's as "immature" rather than reporting them as violations.

i am wondering about this. God asks us to live from the spirit, but falling in love is a physical thing, isn't it? so to fall in love is to let your flesh be a desider? I mean, sure body and soul should work together on this, but...I can't help but wondering if there isn't a more divine way to choose your partner?
so.. will your spirit tell you if it is the one? or should you just choose someone you really like as a person and then remain faithfull the way jopeph was to mary?

Please, anyone thinking about giving me the same old "God has a plan" routine because that would contradict the bible itself in taking away our free will. To say that God has a plan is to say that we have no choice in what we do. For that matter to say that God knows all that has been and all that will ever be also eliminates the option of free will. And don't get me wrong I'm not saying that God doesn't exist, I am just not the sort of person who can go through life never questioning the preconceived notions of human nature. And if there is someone out there who can give me a ligit reason to follow anything so blindly I will concede the point and follow. Anyway just Know that it is not my intent to offend anyone, I just want the answers everyone wants.

I am looking to get my 7 week old son baptised and I dont know how to go about it. Can anyone help me? Does it cost anything at the Church? How long in advance should I book the mass or is it just a come to the mass at anytime? Is it only on Sundays or are there Saturday ones? Also, who should all be invited to the mass and after party? I would it if anyone can answer thses questions for me. I have called two churches but both the person in charge wasnt in today to answer them.

I dont know but my random WAG is that 20% of the questions are just meant to rile people up. I like questions that make me think about my views and the views of others (yes even if i disagree) I also love the amusing interjections and off subject trains of thought.... But some questions seem meant to do nothing but spread hate and discontent.

Just somthing to think about. Why do you ask questions - whats your motive? ... if you ask questions out of meanness are you just bored of watching southpark, or what?

You want to cry and weep because you can't be with a person you love so much due to different religion than you. You can't sleep at night, curl up in the bed and always not focused in your mind. You love them so much and they might love you back but you can't date or marry them as they are of a different religion. Any person here has a similar experience and want to share?
