I have heard of scientology being considered a religion nowadays, but I have to ask why? It's nothing more than an expensive "pay as you go" religion endorsed by nutjobs such as Tom Cruise that fanatically tries to convert other celebs into it. Just what is scientology supposed to be anyway? It sounds contradicting, but I'd rather get knowledge of it before I criticize it, so could anybody help me out here? (By the way I'm Catholic).

I'm not baptised, nor have I gone to church, but I pray and have strong beliefs in god and jesus and have relationships with them in my mind. But I always hear stuff about needing to know more and all that, why can't my belief be enough? Personal jesus?

when God sent a rainfire to soddom and gomora. moises saved his uncle and family from fire but in one condition that they wont look back or else they were turn into a salt. unfortunately, his wife look back and turn to salt. there's no sea mentioned in the bibe that time. dead sea is exactly located where gomora and sodoma also located. as what historians and theologians discovered.
