Omnipresent means you are everywhere - that would mean god is in Hell, in Jesus, in Satan, in you and in a rock.

Where does it say that Hell is absolute separation from God?
I don't recall reading or even hearing that previously. Some minor doctrine?

God has absolute knowledge of Hell; but He is not in Hell. Think of it in the same way that God has knowledge of sin; but He cannot sin because He is pure goodness and holiness.

In order for Hell to be reasonable, you must first understand that all of us have broken God's law. If God is just, He must punish all lawbreakers. He did a wonderful thing by dying on the cross to take our punishment for us.

There is a point in time that God will turn His back on the hard-hearted that have refused His kind gift of salvation.

God is not in rocks; God made the rocks. What you are describing is pantheism. God is not in Jesus; Jesus is God. He is part of the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (all 3 under the same Godhead). I have given you a link to a good theology course if you would like to learn more. It is free, and all are welcome.

Omnipresent means being present everywhere, yes, but God chooses not to be present in Hell- so therefore He is not. God is not in hell- or it would not be hell.

"Everywhere" is a term that applies to the physical universe, where "places" are defined in terms of space and time. God is present everywhere in the universe He created. However, heaven and hell exist outside of space and time. They do not have dimensions. "Places" as we know them do not exist outside of space and time, for the concept of a dimensionless place lies outside our realm of experience or imagination. Therefore, heaven and hell, while they may be "places" in some ethereal sense that we cannot comprehend, are not "places" as we understand the term. What we do know is that hell is absolute and eternal separation from God. To what extent hell is a "place" or a "state of existence" we cannot know. All we know is that God, and therefore everything good and wholesome and healthy and beautiful and desirable is uttely absent from that place/state.

Because god is omnipotent and can decide to be omnipresent or not, like when he walked around the garden of eden without knowing where Adam was.

God's presence and how that presence is felt by his creation are two separate concepts. That God's presence would be felt by those in Hell is why the damned would be tormented. Feeling His presence in Hell is the punishment of those who have rejected His call to righteousness.

Now that is a good question! One answer would be that Hell is spiritual separation from God and not physical separation.

The presence of God is torture for the wicked.

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself.

" He that believeth and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus

"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)

Why do you say that "God is omnipresent and therefore in Hell"?

Separation is an illusion. What God is, created the truth of us as one "Son", or, "Self".

It is true that we cannot truly separate from "God". It is a symbol for our turning our focus away from "Him", and going our own way. Thus, the world, and all physical expression.

Nothing is as complicated as you seem to think it is. What you think is thinking...is not thinking.
