You answer your own question. You are strong in your belief in Jesus and God and therefore you know which paths to follow and practise daily. Your heart and the voice inside you will tell you which paths to follow and you know, that voice is your soul. Your mind is your soul. You know what is right and which is wrong and their result especially if it is negative.
God and Jesus is everywhere and where ever you are they are always watching over you. Remember God is great and Jesus loves you.

I'm grateful of you knowing Christ. Our Lord & Savior. Have you ever heard of the word fellowship? We have fellowship with Jesus, & we should have fellowship with other believers too. Belonging to the church (People are the church) other christians is fellowship. I can tell you one thing that you will always have question about the Bible, God, Jesus, & etc. Or you may have issues you want to talk with a fellow believer. You are right that Jesus never came to earth to form a religion, God's plan at the begining was to have a relationship with us but until sin, so that's why Christ came here to live as a sinless man and to restore that relationship we had with God. Remember you can't think of Jesus like the picture you might see, but you can have a personal relationship with Jesus but not a personal Jesus. That's just like viewing Jesus as a rapper and like Burger King "Have it your way". If you really want to know Jesus read the Bible. NLT is a great version. You can not nerver have a personal Jesus the way you want him to or the way you want him to be. I'll be praying for you and please there's a lot more learn but never enough. We will never know God's heart all the way but can with Jesus. Please find a church. God Bless,,,

This term "personal Jesus" and a "personal" relationship with God are not terms found in the Bible.
Yes, it is important to have a personal investment and a daily relationship with God. This is the personal side so spirituality.
However, according to the Bible being a Christian is being a part of the body of Christ. That is a community of believers. And the CHURCH of the BODY OF CHRIST, is what will be saved. So when you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and are baptized you are added to God's church. Christ died for the church. When you read the Bible it is FULL of the community aspect.
For Scriptures or more questions or comments regarding this concept PLEASE email me.
May the Lord Bless you.

If you believe that Jesus died for you and that God has raised Him from the grave then the Bible says your will be saved, which means that you will enter the kingdom of Heaven. you asked about personal Jesus, yes, personal Jesus. Your relationship with Christ is a personal one. You can talk to Him directly and ask Him to lead, guide, and direct you , as well as forgive you for the wrongs you do. In His word, He tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. This is where we learn more about what the Word has to say to us personally and how to use that directly in our lives. There is power in numbers and being together with other Christians will help us each find more power through Jesus to live uprightly. He says that where two or more are gathered in His name, there He will be also. He also tells us to use the scripture as a light and a lamp to show us the way. We learn how He teaches us how to live in the Bible by studying, memorizing, and sharing with other Christians. That is our food, so to speak, that nourishes us in our Christian lives. By neglecting these areas and just having belief will get you into Heaven, but you are cutting your experiences here on earth out of the picture. You will have more strength to live daily and more knowledge with which to live by growing spiritually in these ways. Why wait until you are dead to learn more about life? He came to give use life that we might have it more abundantly. Make Jesus personal with you right now and feel the joy that surpasses all understanding.

When discovering what Christianity is about, one might get into the Old Testament and see that there was a plan from the beginning to save some people. God chooses people out of the world-- He always has, to reveal Himself to them.
Within the history of the Old Testament, the Hebrews were required to make sacrifices for sin. It was referred to as a 'covering'. When Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross, he became that covering for all the world, to be sacrificed once for all time.
So that is what you are lacking; the covering that Jesus provided.
By telling him ( prayer) that you accept that sacrifice, you are making a Verbal Contract with God. You are accepting the sacrifice of Jesus who is our covering- protection from the wrath of God. You are then counted as one of His, and will recieve the many benefits that God promised-- which occurs in the new life-- the life of faith, which is trusting God for what He said.
So yes, it is quite personal. It's between you and the God who created everything and no one else. You then have peace with Him, and that's a really good thing to have-- He IS God after all!

The bible says your only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. I go to church because I want to be surrounded by others who believe as I do. To hear God's word being preached.
It doesnt matter how many works a christian does. satan doesnt care if they go to church, go souling, sing a hymn, tithe but when he sees a man, woman or child on their knees begging God for daily bread and insight, its then that they're being led by the Spirit of God. Good intentions get us no where if God isnt behind them. We have to have that relationship with the Lord. Read matthew 7:22-23
Why not pray to God and ask Him what you should be doing for Him. See where He leads you. God bless

You will go to heaven only if you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. I grew up in the church thinking I was going to heaven because I believed that Jesus was the son of God- even the demons believe that- you have to admit that you are a sinner . You need to repent- turn from your sin- and accept Christ as the payment for your sin, that you cannot pay. His blood is what saves you, not your spirituality.

As long as you have a personal relationship with God and Jesus you will go to heaven. If you truely love Jesus with all your heart, ask him for forgiveness then you are going to be in heaven. Church is for fellowship and to learn more about the Lord. Baptistism is the sharing of you faith in front of others. However no where in the Bible does it say that you have to be baptise to go to heaven. In fact the thief on the cross next to Jesus was never baptistize before he died and went to heaven. Hope this helps.

Be a good person. Don't align yourself with prophets or false prophets. Stay clean and as pure as possible. Hope for the best.
There will be a judgement and the above criteria is your best bet of passing that muster but neither I nor anyone else can warranty you postive results.
There will more than likely be many Christians, Born Agains, Ministers, Popes, Jews and others who may not pass God's muster and will not see heaven for one reason or another.
There is NO warranty RELIGION can save you, for it comes from MAN (a prophet, possibly a false one). Following the wrong religion can get you into more trouble.

If you have truly accepted the Lord into your heart and have a relationship with Him, you will go to Heaven...you can read your Bible and play praise and worship music to grow closer to Him and have a wonderful time here on the earth and not just be waiting to get to Heaven...It is not necessary that you are in a brick and mortar building (church) nor is baptism for salvation. Those are ways to grow together with other believers but are not necessary. Baptism is symbolic of the committment you have made to the Lord.
