Too many people have an oversimplified childlike view of a great sky daddy. G-d is far more complex then this.

G-d is an active part of everything that happens but he also gives free will and he also set forth natural laws to help facilitate this. It is a rather complex subject that this limited forum is not really capable of handling.

Jesus' mission was not to heal every sick person but to save souls by dying on the cross. He used miracles of healing to confirm His identity just as He used the miracle of raising the dead to confirm His identity. The miracles were only temporary until the completion of the Bible in the first century. Is there a need for Him to prove His identity any longer? No. God is in the soul-saving business and He provided us with hospitals and the like to maintain our physical lives until He comes again.

God has the ability to extend someones life on this planet as he sees fit. But in the grand scheme of things, our time on this earth is but a blink of an eye when compared to the time we spend with our loving father.

He's saved my life many times...I would have been dead in a ditch somewhere a long time ago..If someone wants to believe he won't save their life, I don't want to be on that plane with them..That's how their faith operates..Mine says He will save my life...
