About the current Pope and the Papal insitution.

Is Cardinal Nazinger, AKA Pope Baby-Addictus XVI an honest person?

How different is a Pope from David Koresh or L. Ron Hubbard?

What do you say?

I'm looking for some good scripture references for the following topics...
-we should have a relationship with Jesus Christ...
-catching the vision of the church...
-We should know our bible...
-we should lead by example...
-we should not go into battles alone (work as a team)...
-we should know our role within the church...

Any scripture references you can think of please put them down. I know some seem easy but I need some really solid scriptures for a paper. Thank you and God Bless

.....in your religion?

How would your God explain the opinion in this link? If animals are innocent creatures (and I'm presuming this so I'm sure I'll be told if I'm wrong) who just go about their business can they actually be sinning or is it time to admit that this behaviour can be counted as natural in animals and humans?

If you live your life as if there is no God, or Heaven or Hell, then you die, and you find out you were wrong......then what??
Seeing that no one can provide evidence that it does Not exists, wouldn't it be safer to believe in God, Heaven, and Hell while you're alive and if you die and there is no God, Heaven, or Hell, then fine. You lost nothing. But if there is, and you didn't believe, then you lost everything. I don't think it's worth the gamble to not believe, eternity is a VERY LONG TIME. What do you think??

Genesis : 10
24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

1 Chronicles : 1
18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

Till this moment, no problem as long as we consider "Salah" and "Shelah" the same person, BUT:

Luke : 3
35 Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala, (3:35-36)
"Sala which was the son of Cainan."
Who was Salah's father?
36 Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,

Now the question:
Who was Salah's or Shelah's father?
and Who is Cainan?

Or is every Fundamentalist an Evangelical but not every Evangelical a Fundamentalist? If there's a difference, could you tell me what some differences would be--simply? Thanks!

After all aren't both a matter of belief?

2007-02-27 04:04:09 · 7 answers · asked by namsaev 6

First let me say this: I'm not a Christian, but a Deist guy :-) And I completely respect your beliefs (Or non-beliefs, to be exact)
Ok there are the questions:
1- What would, in your opinion, make committing suicide wrong? And is it a personal freedom, or a crime?
2- Would you be offended if someone said :"Bless you" when you sneeze? And how about "In God we trust" printed on money, does it offend you?
3- Do you believe that we have a purpose in this world? (Not assigned by a god or a higher power) Or does that conflict with the concepts of evolution and the big bang (Events took place by chance without a godly control)?
4- Do you think that sexualities (Hetero, homo & bi sexuality) are all natural, and normal? Or does it conflict with your personal ethical system?
5- Let's say that you would believe there's a god. What qualities should He/She have to earn this title? And what should this god do to let all people believe that He/She exists?
6- From where do you take your ethical system? Why do you think you should be a good person?

Sorry if I offended anyone, I'm asking these questions out of curiosity.

GOD made the night dark so we can fall asleep after a long day of work. Can't you see the clear signs of his infinite mercy? And the day is bright so we can see what we're doing! Imagine if the sun was up during the night! How can we fall asleep then! And if it were dark during the day, how can we work? please before you answer, just take a few moments and ponder on this.

Love and blessings
