Your argument was not convincing enough for me to believe in god but I do agree that no religion is best.

James 1:27 speaks of pure and undefiled religion. The best religion is the true religion in the bible. What caused confusions are the false prophets who founded their own religion and did not cling to the biblical religion, Mat 24:24.

God founded a church through Christ, Mat 16:18. This founded church is important and it is the true church. In fact, the blood of Christ was used to buy it, Act 20:28. This founded church is the true one. This church was preached by the apostles. All we have to do is to search for it. The true church that is apostolic learned not to exceed what was written in the bible, I Cor 4:6. If any religion teach beyond what is written, then it is a false religion. Those false religions cause the contradiction and confusions.

religion causes people not to think on their own?
I have a religion and i still have free will. i can opt to serve him or just not follow him at all y'know.

Many contradictions over written text?
The Bible is continous. No one i know or even in the Church, me, or anyone who I know for who has spent YEARS studying the Bible has ever said that there has been a single contradiction! Contradictions sometimes occur due to poor translating but that's it i guess.

Its not true that when you have a religion you are robotic and have no say at all. You will always have free will no matter what. It has its limitations due to science and that's it.

I don't believe that either. I believe that it's not the best thing to do to dwell with religion issues. You can see what I mean by checking out different denominations. each of them would like for you to think their denomination is the right denomination when every denomination should be aware of who they should be worshiping, the one true God. Religion issues just deter you from practicing true worship. So you can see now why even christian don't aggree on everything. The bible says if we are true christians we are not suppose to debate on issues about God but to come to mutual decisions and agree with one another. .

I don;t understand what you are saying. It's not enough just to believe in God. Many people believe in God but are going to Hell. That's because they haven't asked Jesus to forgive them of their sins and confessed that He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. If you truley get saved and have God living in your heart, then you won't have to question religion. The purpose of christians is to lead others to Christ. The bible plainly talks about "works" we do for the Lord and how we will be rewarded for our faithfulness and works we do for Him. I understand there are many religions that believe in God.. I am Penticostal and go to a Church of God. I have the Holy Ghost and have felt God move in me and in my life in a very powerful way. I know that He is with me because I can feel Him. There are other people who probably think I am crazy and that's okay. They just haven't felt the power of God like I have. When God is present, even Athiests will believe-I know this for a fact because I had a teacher who was an athiest since he was a small child. One night he went to a revival just to see what all the "hype" was about, and ended up getting saved. Now he preaches. God can and will use anyone who is obedient to Him. As for your question, I think when you have really felt God then you want to get closer to Him and you should find a church somewhere. Church is where you learn and get fed the word, and get encouragement from other christians. It's also a place to get revived in your spirit and draw closer to God, which is what everyone should want to do. God made you to Wroship Him, it's time more christans realize that.

I don't think there is any best religion as long as you know God and believe in him He will take care of your heart convict you when needed and change your heart about things taht aren't right with him. I know from my own personal experience with Him that He came and saved me and showed me who he was and what he could do for me in my life. I didn't go to church at the time though. So no you don't need religion to have GOd in your life it's really just your heart that desides

Objective is not "believe", but "know".
For devils "believe": James 2:19;
So "believe not": Mt 24:23; 1Jn4:1
Rather "know": John 8:32

No God, Know Problem ... Law(impure religion)
Know God, No Problem ... Grace("pure religion")

I will forsake you, the city, your fathers ... Law(Enmity)
I will never leave thee nor forsake thee ... Grace(Friend)

The law (and lie) was given by Moses,
but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

He taketh away the first,
that he may establish the second.

LAW: press DELETE to take away
GRACE: press SAVE to establish

Both is an oxyMORON with a BAD ending.
The end written is not both nor a dead end.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Jesus prayed in the Lord's prayer. 'Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.'

The true religion is to do God's will. The angels worship YHWH by doing his will, and in time everyone on earth will give God glory, by doing good things always.

The Bible is complete enough information for us to gain a relationship with YHWH through Jesus with the gift of serving God forever. That is the meaning of life.

Sorry but i cant believe you and not believe God. How are you better than God?
God leads you via his word - he doesnt lead you with a "tiny voice in you head!"
God only puts you straight if you allow him to - and you allow him to do so by reading his word and obeying it.

Religions contradict each other, but God's word does not contradict itself - and God's word is the only one you should be following, so how can you be confused?

There is a religion GOD wants us to know.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
