No. As an atheist I'm not waiting in the wings of your nonsense religion, ready to join at the last moment for my own convenience.
I disbelieve in the existence of god so vehemently that I would just as likely spend my last 60 seconds of life looking for shoe goblins.

Why would I spend my last precious moments of life looking for something that doesn't exist? What a complete waste of that precious time!
I'd seek my family and friends to say goodbye -- they're real, unlike mythical magical sky-daddies.

I would not have to seek God, I have already found God the Creator of all creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.. I have accepted His Son as my one and only true Messiah, Lord and Savior.
My last minute would be thinking of the passing from this journey into the journey of all life times... God's glorious kingdom.

No, I would talk to my friends and family. God, not a chance. Is that an attempt to guilt people into going to church? Amazing the tactics that religions use to get people to pay into their multi-national multi-trillion dollar per year business. They scare people into believing God or make their afraid not to believe in God.

Yes. But, God is with me constantly.
I was a near death once. Car accident. Saw a big 18 wheeler headed straight for me going 70 miles an hour.
I watched it, and it was amazing the peace that enveloped me. I just waited.
The truck ran over my engine, and I suffered injuries, but I will never forget that peace I experienced -- the peace from God.
I am not afraid to die.

No, because I don't believe that any gods exist. I would seek my family, so I could spend my last minute with them.

Even if it is not my last minute here on earth, I love to seek GOD's face.
2Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Seeking GOD's face is seeking for His words.
Psalms 17:15 As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with beholding thy form.

Why would I waste my last minute on earth searching for something that's not there? That would be silly...

You mean, right now?
No. I'd hug and then put the dogs into the back yard with water so they wouldn't mess the house up before my hubby got home, and make three quick phone calls - to my mom, my hubby, and my sister, to tell them I love them and ask them to tell others for me..
