GOD made the night dark so we can fall asleep after a long day of work. Can't you see the clear signs of his infinite mercy? And the day is bright so we can see what we're doing! Imagine if the sun was up during the night! How can we fall asleep then! And if it were dark during the day, how can we work? please before you answer, just take a few moments and ponder on this.

what i mean is, if the sun was up during the night, then we can't rest, and if the moon was up during the day, we won't see! just think of how GOD made the earth so perfect for us!

Oh my "GOD", Just wait, let me read that again.
How can you explain that Shite, that is flowing out your mouth.
Anyone got any headache tablets, I have a good one coming on while I ponder .........?
The earth spins (and any other matter in space) because of the momentum left over from the creation of the planet. The particles that created the earth all span inward (smaller object gets pulled in by larger object. It's called gravity). That created the big ball you now live on.
Galaxies, moons, planets, everything up there spins........
Question for you now. If god made the earth spin to support life. Why is it slowly slowing down? Why will the sun burn out in 5 billion years, Why have and will again, asteroids smashed into the earth.?
Honestly, I have nothing against peoples believes, what you believe is totally up to you. But do not talk so much rubbish, and what you just said is rubbish.

Well you see there is a little thing called gravity and orbit. we are orbiting the sun because of gravity, since the sun weighs so much more than the earth. Just like how the moon revolves around the earth. As we spin around the sun, we are also spinning on an axis because of the poles. Since that happens there is always going to be one side of the planet that is sunny and one side that is dark. Night and Day is no miracle, unless you are talking about the Cole Porter song because that song freaking rocks. Don't try to prove miracles with science.

You do understand that we're on a planet that is circling the sun right? I know that's elementary science, but sometimes you Fundies seem to be lacking even a third grade level of science.
btw, there are places in the world where they don't have night for months at a time (Near the Arctic). And I work the Nightshift, as so many others do. So I actually do sleep while the sun is out and work while it's dark. Ponder THAT for a few moments. :P
Your comment is flawed in oh, so many ways.

LOL!!
This is one of the wackier attempts. I can imagine you're next question: "Atheists: How can you explain the miracle of the sky being blue, if it was green we wouldn't see grass off in the distance and if it was red our eyes would hurt!"
Please, the "miracle" of day is when the sun shines upon the earth, and when it's night it's because one side of the earth you're on isn't facing the sun. It isn't a miracle, a great many planets rotate on their axis. And as animals we have learnt to use our environment, we require sleep and because our eyes are not accustomed to night as they are to daty we sleep in the night, so we can better hunt during the day.
I mean come on! Do you seriously think that's a valid argument? "God created the circle so our cars would go smoothly on the roads He made for us" Blaming God for something doesn't prove he exists, especially when it can be explained by science. I can say God created a pencil but it won't sweep away Atheism.

What miracle?
The earth rotates on its axis once every 24 hours, giving most of the planet day and night when facing or not facing our star. It's physics, not miracles. *Every* planet rotates on its axis -- if this is from god to "give" us time to rest, why does Mars have day and night, there are no people there?
You have this seriously backwards. Animals that evolved on this planet (especially mammals) developed our sleep cycles in response to the natural occurence of day and night. If we were locked in a resonant rotation (like Mercury), we would have evolved differently.
And how does your "miracle" explain the vast areas of the earth near the poles -- where millions of people live -- that have 24 hours of daylight during the summer and 24 hours of nighttime during the winter? Did you "god" not include them in his miracle?
Please go learn some basic science -- it'll keep you from asking questions that only make you look quite foolish.

Wow, obviously you have not lived up North have you? During the summer it is bright most of the 24 hours in a day and during the winter it is dark most of the 24 hours in a day. You need to get out from that rock that you live under and realize that there is a big world outside of the one you live in. And just FYI in the summer up North, and it is light until 11:00pm, you still have to sleep or else your body become exhausted and you still work in the winter in the dark. And animals and people still function in those conditions, etc. Must be nice to be that naive.

How do people in the Northern part of Norway sleep during the summer when the sun never sets? How do researchers get anything done at the South Pole in the Winter when the sun never rises?

Not sure if you're a troll or not, but in case you are not, evidently you are not aware there are places in the world (like Alaska) where it is daylight 24/7 for certain seasons. And people work at night, ever heard of 3rd shift?
You must be a troll or making an attempt to be sarcastic, no one ould be this ignorant.

every planet rotates, the sun rotates. the only time a large body will not rotate is if it is gravitationally locked like Mercury or the moon. you should have learned this in your science class at school. PS. the earth was not made perfect for us, we became adequately functional to exist on the earth.

The Earth revolves as it rotates around the sun I believe that explains it. It really is light during the night and dark during the day we just have things mixed up in reverse.
