does it say in the Hebrew bible that when your mesiah comes you are to worship him as if he were God's incarnation and not just the son of God?
I'm just wondering if the christians are doing the right thing, worshiping their mesiah, wondering if the Hebrew bible says anything on this subject?

In other words, if you'd could remain in your (in my case) 35 y.o. body forever, would you?

The Cons? Forever means indefinitely, perhaps no end. You'd outlive everyone you've ever known, & loved, not to mention people you will meet in the future. The world would obviously not understand, so you'd have to change your identity frequently, and perhaps move frequently as well.

The Pros? You cannot die, you cannot be killed, you'll never get sick, and you'd have the benefit of having lived for centuries, perhaps. And with that comes firsthand knowledge of history, foreign languages, travel, you name it. Not to mention that you'd have an infinite amount of time hone whatever skill, craft, trade or knowledge it is you seek. That's power!

You CAN die if you lose your head, or if your body is destroyed. And you have no superpowers, only the benefit of infinite time to learn what knowledge is already out there.

People often argue over semantics and wording in the Bible, but it has been translated from Greek and Hebrew, to Latin, to Old English to English (let alone other translations in other languages). Given the amount of time and the cultural differences, entire concepts could be misunderstood or misinterpreted. Let me a expound a bit into some modern references to this idea so that it is more clear.
Language defines our perceptions of the world, because it is our "ruler" for which we measure and describe our world. In one culture and language I read about recently, "Green" as we know it is actually a teal or greenish-blue to that culture. Were it dictated by a religious authority translated from another language that they are to hold some ceremony with a green candle, they would preform it wrong with a teal one. This, in essence, is that I am getting at. Not only has there been one language hop, but at least 4, 5 if you count old english. So whats the point in arguing over wording?

I've heard a lot of people bashing James Camron lately over the Jeus Movie. My question is way would he make this movie? He has to know that it's going to end his career, which I find sad.

I don't believe the story...I find it has to many holes. I'm open to the idea but it would take a lot to convince me.

But can someone explain to me why he would do this? To make money isn't a good answer because this is a career ending move.

Some say they reject Jesus as the Messiah because if Joseph was not His biological father then He could not have been from the house of David, in accordance with the prophecies. Question: Is there any line of descendency that is higher or more representative of the true house of David than one descending directly from God the Father?

Why do Christians say that there is only one god, and that God never lies when the Bible clearly says otherwise in Gen. 3:1-3:7 and Gen. 3:22 of the King James Bible?

Okay, here is a really bizarre question… But, here we go,

The only funerals I have ever attended have been for people of one particular faith or another. They were held in rooms with their religious paraphernalia at the funeral home or at their church, with a preacher/pastor speaking.

Obviously, this is not going to work for someone that didn’t believe in a higher authority during their life.

So, those of you that are truly atheist, where would you want your funeral to be held and who to speak about what? And what do you wish to be done with your remains?

Pope Benefict criticized "eugenics". What if a new technology was discovered that allowed doctors to change a gene that prevented the child from getting Down's Syndrome? Is that "unholy?" Should we let the child be born with this Syndrome when we have the means to prevent it just because "god" meant it to be this way? How ludicrous is that!
